CHARLOTTE'S POV

Third day of the seminar and the workshop was made by the kids to the adults and it turned out great. And by the last day, kids got a temporary tattoo of the angelic rune. They looked cute and they were really creative on the places they wanted their first rune. I was proud of the workshop and before we ended, we took some pictures and when the workshops were finished, all the attendees went home. "See you in a day." Catherine said and left to the airport. "So, ready to take Paris by storm?" Leon's question made me smile and I nodded. We walked by the Eiffel tower and he took my pictures there as I post them on social media, promoting it as a Stark Industries trip. Tony's comment did not take long to get there and the pictures got even more popular. Our day was very well spent in the Louvre Museum, the Arch of the Triumph, Versailles Palace and the Notre Dame Cathedral.

Everything was so beautiful in Paris and I did not want to leave the place, but under strict orders of the superiors, we had to go back and resume our duties in our own institute. When we arrived to London, I checked the time. It was almost midnight, which meant that it was almost Catherine's birthday. We took the cab to the institute and got in, everyone was already in their night spots and after I said goodbye to Leon, I went to the kitchen where I stole a cupcake and looked for some candle and ran to the room, where Catherine was reading. The tiny alarm went off, I had made it back just in time. Using a match, I lighted the candle and got inside the room. "Happy birthday, Cath." I whispered to not spook her and she seemed grateful for that. "Aw." She teared up as I sang the birthday song. "I hope you get whatever you want, because you deserve that and so much more." I hugged her as I handed her the cupcake.

"Make a wish and blow the candle." I instructed and I realized she had never had done this before, but I decided to not say anything about that. Catherine smiled, closed her eyes and then she blew the light. "Don't jinx it!" I told her before she could even say her wish out loud. "Sorry, I didn't know." We both laughed and I went to hug her again. The next morning, we got up and got ready to start the day. While we were having breakfast, Evelyn stopped the morning mentioning the wonderful work we had done in the seminar and to announce that Catherine's lunch would be out as today was a special day for her as it would be the last one she would spend in the institute. We all were confused by that, but we decided to just let it go and enjoy our breakfast. Every now and then some residents would come near and congratulate Catherine and then they kept going their way.

I felt great after that week away, for the first time in nine months, I felt like I was at the same level as the rest of the Londoner soldiers and that was demonstrated in the morning jog and training. After that, we got ready to have lunch out and I would have given my runes back to have Thor and Loki around to celebrate Cath's birthday, but we could organize something for later. JW Steakhouse was exactly what I had envisioned for Cath's birthday. When Leon mentioned it, I was not very convinced, but the reviews were good, so I made the reservation without thinking too much about it. The hostess greeted us and another host took us to our table, which happened to be outside, but private at the same time. As soon as we took a seat, the server came to hand us the menu and offer us some drinks. As we sipped and enjoyed our drinks, we decided our main course. As we waited for that, we shared some appetizers and after a while, they brought our food.

We laughed, we talked and enjoyed our lunch as we shared our experiences in the seminar and Evelyn had a proud smile and that made me feel happy. Before the dessert, we handed Cath her presents and without seeing them she said she loved them and I felt good for her. She was a whole other Cath to the one I had met almost a year before.
