CHARLOTTE'S POV

I was so confused and Jace's question was getting me crazy. "We might have something, but seriously, we don't even know what to do with that information." I spoke and a second later a portal opened and Jace walked along Alec and Magnus. "Hey, dude, hands off my girl and put a shirt on." I had not noticed he was shirtless, but I focused on my brother. Jace's words made me smile and I went to hug him. "Get your cheating body away from me." He joked and I fought him to get a hug. "Don't be a wanker and hug me." I stomped my foot and he knew he had about two seconds to hug me before I got mad for real. "Wanker? That's what they taught you?" Alec spoke as he hugged me before Jace. "My turn." Jace pushed Alec lightly and hugged me tightly and just then, I felt completely safe. Like nothing could happen to me there. Jace had that bad-boy vibe and he did not let much people in, I was happy that I had made the cut.

"Okay, what's going on?" Magnus asked as he put some security in our room. "Okay, I kind of need all of you to hold hands or whatever, because I'm just doing this once, because it's exhausting and it hurts me." Catherine said and they all nodded. She drew the rune and they all shared the memory. "So, tell me, what am I supposed to do with that?" I asked as I sat on top of Jace as he put his arms around me and Magnus used his magic to get some food around. "What do you want to do?" Alec questioned as he rested his back on the chair. "I want to report, but then again, what if all of them are into this?" Jace moved his hand proud of my thinking and smiled. "I shouldn't be smiling, but damn." I rolled my eyes and smiled at the ground. "Stop flirting with me, dude." Jace put his hand over his chest and stopped smiling. "I'm severely confused by your relationship now." Leon spoke and I wished he had not.

"Does Thor know you're cheating with this... specimen?" Jace looked Leon up and down, almost questioning my choices. I face-palmed myself and grunted. "For the hundredth time, I'm not cheating!" I spoke to his mind and he was in awe by that. "Now, focus on the real issue!" I turned my head to him and Jace rolled his eyes and nodded, still surprised of my new ability. "Here's what I'm thinking." Alec interrupted our gazing and I felt thankful. "I have some issues to settle with the Clave, let me see what can I get, until then, please, don't do anything." I nodded and after that, we just stopped talking about it and had breakfast. "What are you doing tonight?" Jace asked me, but looked at Leon. I cupped his face and made him look at me. "Stop with the jealousy. You don't see me making all this when you are with Clary." I spoke to his mind and he dismissed my words by rolling his eyes.

"We're actually supposed to go to a concert. Rumors say some demon is going to attack at this venue." Catherine answered and I looked at her, confused. I did not know about that. "I just got the alert." She added and I checked my own phone, she was right. "Hold on." Jace said after a while and we all stopped doing what we were doing. "Is that a family ring?" Jace asked taking Catherine's hand and I giggled. "Yeah, this was my birthday present." She smiled. "Speaking of which. I need to see what the sunglasses do." She added. "We should test those in the training room." As I said that Magnus opened a portal as someone was coming, but Jace stayed behind and put a glamour on. "This is seriously completely ridiculous." We heard Evelyn say from the other side of the door and we knew it would be something related to last night, so Leon left by the balcony. The door was opened and interrupted our yoga session. "You again?" I said as I kept my position.

"The guards are here to take you to Idris where you will face your trial." She said and I did not even move. "On what charges?" I asked again as I stood correctly. The guard looked for the envelope and read it. "The Clave accuses Charlotte Verlac to have broken Law 44, Code 88, Article 22." We all looked at each other, wondering what this was about.
