CHARLOTTE'S POV

The draw of the Global Meeting was such a complex thing. First, they chose the continent, then the country and finally the institute. So, I knew how lucky they had been to have been selected. As all the eyes were on me, I smiled. "I have a few ideas, but we can discuss all yours tonight over dinner. Have a really nice day and be safe." She scurried out of the room and we all went to have breakfast. "I can't believe we're housing every Shadowhunter here for three days!" Cath started freaking out and I just held her hand, making her relax immediately. "We have three months still, it's okay." Leon stared at us while we did all that exchange and he was in shock, but did not say anything about it. By now, he was used to us showing affection. "It's not that bad. As an institute, you all have to organize everyone's abilities and do the best for the rest." We kept talking about all and then we got ready to the seminar.

The seminar was a retreat for some Shadowhunters that were outstanding on their institutes and younger than twenty years old, which meant this one was my last one. After twenty, you could be invited just to supervise the event and give your feedback at the end of every activity to every instructor. The Clave invited every person that met the requirements and taught them about different things about mundane world, it was like a test to prove how comfortable we got with humans and to assess the coexistence with them. Every year, I got the highest grades and recommendations, because I enjoyed all this too much. As I was interested in living off premises when I turned twenty-one, this last seminar was mandatory for me. The instructors were the Shadowhunters that were spending their last year in the seminar or the ones that were in their year off. Meaning, I was an instructor this year and I was excited as this year the seminar was in Paris.

In the big run, this experience would be extremely helpful and useful for me, but at the same time I was a bit annoyed for the fact that I would probably have to deal with annoying teenagers. I was not worried too much for mundanes though. I liked mundanes and I usually got along with them. As the seminar was a carnival for humans, we needed to get to the city in a mundane way. So, after having breakfast, we were taken to the train station. Our train departed at eight in the morning, which meant we were supposed to be there at seven. As our trip was to another country, we would need to have a little check-in within the station. I was about to go back home and Cath kind of needed to discover her own persona. Leon, Cath and I walked to the first free booth and sat down. Leon organized our bags on the overhead compartment and then he sat down next to me. I was anxious on the seminar, so I fell asleep as soon as I put my head on Leon's shoulder.

He put his head over mine and hugged me. The movement and the hug took me to another dimension and soon enough, I was sleeping. When we landed, we were taken to the hotel and I was stuck in a meeting for the rest of the day, where they explained us the chronogram of the whole event. The first day, we would all get to Paris and the instructors would prepare everything for the seminar, as the attendees would be free to walk around and be tourists for a day. By the second day, the little courses would start and it would be finished by the fourth day and as the attendees would return home, the instructors would have the fifth day to go out and be tourists around the city. There were some other instructors that I had met before and it was not a big surprise that I got the moving station, because it was a donation of Stark Industries. Said station would hold different games and activities for every attendee.

It basically meant that I could change my station throughout the night, which was going to be fun and during the day, I would have the kids' workshop to introduce them to the runes and all that our world meant. As we divided into the different stations, the people in charge handed us the list of available games and activities.
