CHARLOTTE'S POV

Since it was discovered that cataplasm was poisonous for every kind, it had been eradicated from the Shadow World, even from the black market. Maybe, I would have to pay a bit more attention to this, because I truly believed that it was way more than just a simple accident. This had been intended to kill me and that feeling was overwhelming. I did not know how, but Thor knew that and it made me feel like he really cared, which quickly became a strong feeling. This showed that Thor and I were not just fuck buddies, we were connected in a deeper way and I just did not want to lose that. Ever. I was not ready to say goodbye to him, so I pulled him back to me, every time he sat on the bed. "I have to go, little one." He would whisper every time. "Not yet." I would reply, like that was enough for him to stay and it was as he would go back to bed with that. "Did you tell Jace about this?" I crunched my nose and hid on his chest.

"Charlotte, he will find out eventually and I think it will be better if he hears it from you." I knew he was right, but talking to Jace about it, would only make things worse. "You know how idiotic my brother can be and if I tell him that someone tried to kill me, it's going to be even worse." Thor grunted with the last part and went to kiss me and get himself into me. Like trying to convince himself that I was okay, that I was really there with him and he knew exactly what to do to keep me with him. "Just promise me that you'll tell him at some point." I nodded, still in cloud nine as he pulled out and eventually, we took another nap. "Little one, I really have to go now." Thor said already dressed and kneeled down by my bed. "When will I see you again?" I questioned as I brought his hands to my body one last time. "I'll do my best to come in a few weeks." His smirk gave away his dumb words.

"My mighty dick can't live without your mundane's business." I laughed and he leant in to kiss me one more time before going back to wherever he was before coming here. As he left, I put some clothes on, in case Cath came back and I was thinking on the project I had told Evelyn I wanted to do. I was the head of the project, but I would need a right hand and I knew that Cath could be great if given the chance, so when she came back, I told her about it between movies and music. Two days later, Cath brought her tray to have lunch with me, as the nurse kept doing questions as to why my wound was healed and I could not quite tell her that having sex with a God was healing, so I used the Iratze. After lunch, Evelyn knocked on our door and Cath let her in. "Are you in too much pain?" She asked me and I shrugged. "I've never been in pain in my life so I don't know how much is too much."

My answer was not very specific, but I had been into the shadow world my whole life, and the iratze was always involved in my accidents. "Okay, let me rephrase that. Are you in conditions to have the Tech Workshop?" I felt fireworks when I heard those words and Evelyn just smiled. "Let me have a shower and I'll be right there." Evelyn nodded and left. "Showtime." Catherine said and I ran to the bathroom. I changed my clothes, activated my energy rune and got emotionally ready to face everyone after the whole mess Leon had created. As I got out of the shower, I took a look of the wound again and it looked better than before and I felt better than before, but I still felt like an old person. Every little thing I did was exhausting, so I had to slow down to do simple things, but Evelyn had given me a chance to get out of the room and do something useful with my time there. Once I was ready, I got out and saw Catherine having a panic attack.

My only reaction was to hold her and wait for her to do the rest. She needed to get a hold of her emotions, otherwise she would have lots of issues to handle. "Focus on your breathing." Her breathing was ragged and some tears were falling down. I did not know what had triggered it, but I just stayed there.
