CHARLOTTE'S POV

Thor was so mad at Loki that he did not even acknowledge me and when he saw me, he got angrier at Loki for taking me. "What were you thinking?" Thor asked Loki as I was too shocked to even talk. "And why are you even here?" That question was directed to me and Loki looked between both of us. "Oh. You two broke up." That came as a revelation to him and for a second, he looked sympathetically at me and I knew that Loki was being controlled, which was somehow the best scenario, because I knew Cath was right when she said that he was not a bad guy. I walked away just a little bit to breathe, I knew there was a possibility to see him, but I did not imagine that it would be so soon. Thor talked to Loki and told him how much it hurt them to lose him and now they found out he was trying to rule a world that did not need to be ruled. I activated my hearing rune and Tony was coming, so I walked closer to them, just as Tony took Thor away.

"What are you doing?" I questioned Loki and he kept defending his actions as he had the right to rule us. I got even closer and sat down next to him as I put my arms around him. I looked up and Steve and Cath were coming. "What's your next move now?" I asked as we watched how Thor and Tony fight. "They already caught me once, they will do it again." The smile was what gave him away. He had planned this, or better said, whoever was controlling him. As Steve took him, Cath and I went down to stop the fight. Tony was stubborn and when Thor hit him again, we walked closer to Tony. "Dude, seriously, stop fighting." We told him as we helped him up his feet again. "What are you doing here?!" His question was answered when Thor smiled at us. "You know him?" Cath and I looked at each other and just nodded. "I used to date him." Apparently, my response was worse as Tony attacked him again and we just waited for them to be tired enough to stop.

We walked to some high rock and then Steve got there. "They seriously don't work in teams." Steve agreed to Catherine's words and asked them to stop. Thor frowned and attacked Steve. When the energy blew them away, we walked down as Steve questioned if they were done and we walked back to the quinjet. "I still don't understand why you're here." Tony said to us. "Are you okay? Did Loki hurt you?" Thor asked me scanning my whole body with his eyes. I just nodded as I felt confused. "Dude, if you keep staring at Thor, you're going to do something stupid." Catherine spoke to my mind and I walked away from all of them. "I can't quite control it. I was not ready to see him this soon. Like we haven't even really started the mission." My answer made her sigh and I knew that whatever she was going to say, I would not like it. "Get your shit together, otherwise I'm sending you back to the institute." I nodded as I activated the focus rune. This was work.

When they got to the helicarrier these other agents took Loki to some cell and Tony nodded us to follow him as Thor talked with Agent Coulson about his girl and Steve was around. "What are you really doing here?" His question made Bruce turn around and before things got more confusing, we took the invisibility out. "There's something fishy about the Tesseract and as I'm in charge of Mundanes Public Relationships I had to investigate and somehow, we got stuck with the nonexistent Avengers thing." Tony looked at us and just let us be. He started talking with Bruce and then Steve got there and started lecturing Tony, who started acting like a five-year old. Steve was accusing Tony of not work well with others and I wanted to yell at him for being that hypocrite, but I stayed silent, we already had a lot of issues to add something more to it. As they asked Steve if he did not find it odd, I saw something flicker on his eyes and I knew his brain was running, trying to really trust Fury.

"Follow him." I spoke directly to Catherine's mind and she nodded as I stayed with the geniuses. "Team work. Remember that." I whispered in Tony's mind. "Seriously, Tony. You might not like the guy, but he's part of the team." And he just rolled his eyes, like he always did whenever someone told him something he did not like.
