CATHERINE'S POV

Jace and Alec were confused on what to do and I was just lost on Loki. "What's the idea of this thing." Loki asked me in a whisper and I just explained everything with a smile. "Okay, but explain me why everyone has tattoos?" He changed the topic as I was getting anxious. His questions made me feel more and more secure around him. "Those are called runes and they give us special powers." I explained as we kept mingling around the room to advertise our app. "May I have a dance?" For the first time, I took the initiative and asked Loki. He smiled at me and guided me to the dance floor. The room was full of people and somehow, we managed to dance and not bump into anyone. A few seconds later, Thor and Charlie joined us and then, more and more people were dancing too. Evelyn was smiling and I knew she was thinking the same as me. Charlotte had brought a new life to our institute and we all were thankful for that.

Finally, the moment of the truth came and Charlotte went up the stage. "So, let me put into context our app. Shadowhunters' work is based in protect and we were in debt with our dear mundanes. So, we came up with this." Charlotte pressed a button and the logo of the app got on the screen. "This is Instagram. As mundanes like to share everything they do on their social networks, we are going to provide a place where they can share pictures or videos. By them doing that, we get access to their cameras and eventually to their surroundings." The murmurs were marveled comments on how easy that would be for us in terms of surveillance. "So, let me walk you to the steps to upload a picture." Charlie got her phone out and put her phone in front of her face, taking us into the selfie. "First, you open the app by clicking the icon and create an account with an email address." She was such a pro and it showed she was used to do this kind of things.

"Then you create your username and lastly a password, then you're ready to share your pictures. In the plus sign you can add the picture from your gallery or from your camera. Once you have the picture you want to upload, you select it and apply the filter you think it's best." Her phone was hooked to the big screen and we could see everything she was doing in real time. "There. After you're ready with the picture itself, you can add a little caption and then you hit the share button." She smiled as the picture appeared on the screen. The applause filled the room and I took over to explain the surveillance part as Charlie walked away with Thor and I logged into the server to spy on her. The data gave us her exact position, access to her microphone and camera. She was waving, which was a very Charlie thing to do. As we gave time to the app to test the server, we all went out of our ways. We four ended up in the Greenhouse.

"I knew he was a fool for her, but I have never seen him like that." Loki added when we sat down for a little bit to eat. "They look good together. I'd like to have someone that cared like that for me." My words struck something within me and Loki held my hand. "That makes us two." I giggled and we kept talking and having fun. "Tell me more about Asgard" I questioned after a while as I pulled him out of the conference room and took him back to the roof where we could appreciate the stars. "Asgard is quite alike Earth, although we call it Midgard, which is one of the realms that is connected to Asgard by the Bifröst." His voice was so appealing that I wanted to hear him for days. "Hold on. What is a Bifröst?" Loki showed a tiny smile. "You're such a piece of work." His chuckle made me laugh. "The Bifröst is a magical bridge that connects Asgard with all the realms." I hummed and looked up the sky once again.

"You make Asgard sound beautiful." I spoke as I got lost on his persona and Loki just nodded. "Do you think I can go?" I questioned afraid of the answer. "Thor always takes Charlotte there. Father has sword fights with her, which makes her a good queen project." He rolled his eyes, that was the resentment about, but on the other hand, he was not mad about it.
