CHARLOTTE'S POV

Leon was speechless and I did not know how to handle him after reading his letter. He was confused by his own feelings, he described that he was not in love with me, but he would jump into my pants whenever I let him. Just then, I let myself think on him like that and I started questioning the last six months. The cuddles, the nights he slept on my bed, the looks, everything and I wondered how I did not notice before. I was so blinded by my relationship with Thor, that I just missed all those flags, which made me realize that I did fall for Thor. I did not want to admit it, but now, days after the whole mess he left within me, all I could do was accept that I liked him more than I had admitted and right then, I hated him. I hated Father, I hated Loki. I hated the fact that our relationship was over. "Charlie!" Catherine snapped her fingers over my face and I realized that I was in the bathroom. "I'm in love with him." I explained and her eyes changed in front of me.

She hugged me and I tried to cry, to let it all out, but I just could not. "I can't cry and I hate this!" I wanted to punch something, but there was nothing to punch in the bathroom. "You really need to get your shit together, dude. The Council is about to get here and you can't be falling apart right now and I feel like shit for even asking you this, but please Lottie. Get a hold of yourself for a little bit." Catherine was about to cry and that almost broke me even more. I activated the calm rune and the bravery rune. "Okay, I'm ready." She hugged me again and we laughed our way out of the bathroom. By the time the Council arrived, they checked all of our files and after a throughout inspection, we were cleared to proceed. We walked in the room and stood in the middle, in front of the guy from the Council. He handed Catherine the stele and whispered that she had to draw the rune now. Catherine took the stele and she was extremely nervous.

"Dude, you're going to be okay, stop freaking out." I whispered to her mind. After that the rest of the rune draw almost by itself. After she finished, the red of the mark slowly vanished and Catherine handed the stele back. The guy handed it to me and I looked at Cath before moving, she nodded and I started drawing the mark, when I finished, I threw the stele up and handed it back. "Now step in front of each other" He whispered again and we did as a smile crept on our faces. "Hold your forearms and start reciting the oath." Catherine and I held our arms and as soon as we touched, some fire rings surrounded us. "It's okay." I whispered to her mind, trying to ease her. "We're about to finish, hold on." I told her and she nodded. Slowly, she started to grew calmer and somehow all that anxiety started growing on me, I frowned slightly and just pushed aside those feelings to start.

"Entreat me not to leave thee, or return from following after thee, for whither thou goest, I will go, and where thou lodgest, I will lodge. Thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God. Where thou diest, will I die, and there will I be buried. The Angel do so to me, and more also, if aught but death part thee and me." We both said each line of the oath and slowly some warmness covered my body, but we did not get off the hold we had. We could not break the eye-lock, it was like we were too absorbed on what was happening to care about other things. Suddenly, the rings of fire disappeared and some unknown force went around us. Everyone was shocked for that, but in reality, we never really paid attention to that and as the ceremony itself had ended, we started jumping around and laughed at how awesome it had been. "I feel old now. My little munchkin has a parabatai!" Magnus said and I giggled as I went to hug him.

Jace was next to Clary as the Council was still around and they did not like how touchy Jace and I were. Then, we started showing off our new ink on us and after a while, our guests started leaving. By dinner time, we both talked and then, I sneaked out again. I had a mission to fulfill. I had a few things to end tonight.
