CATHERINE'S POV

As soon as we ended the mission, we returned to the institute and as Charlie went to inform what had happened and do the paperwork, I walked immediately to the technological room to pick up Charlie's things, it was then when I found some other people trying to get into it. Thank the Angel Charlie was paranoid enough that she had double encryption on all her things, laptop and phone included and only I had the passwords of them. I walked out and made enough noise for them to know that they were not alone. "Oh, sorry. I just need my laptop and I'll be gone." They all looked petrified and I walked to where they were and took the laptop and walked out, where I almost bumped into someone. "Going somewhere?" She asked and I did not know what to do. She was scary and I really did not want to be there. This was just too much for me, but they definitely were looking for something related to Charlie and I would not let them have her.

"Yeah, I actually was on my way to my room." After I said that, I realized that we had lots of forbidden things there and as I stalled the woman from the Clave, I sent a message to Leon who was walking by to put a glamour on our room to hide everything, he had the best glamour of the institute. Luckily, he did without questioning and as we walked to my room, she talked about how amazingly we had handled the breakthrough and how we had taken very little time to fix it. As she finished talking, I realized that the breakthrough has not been randomly. Someone had opened a drift for demons to get out of hell. Someone had exposed mundanes to this and I did not know what to think. If this had been on purpose and no one knew about it, meant that the Clave was behind this and if they were looking for Charlie's laptop, meant that there was something related to Sebastian.

By now, we were inside the room and I thanked the Angel that Leon's glamour was the best in the institute. It was then, when Charlie got in and she looked confused and I just tried to act normal, but I knew she caught my worries. In fact, I was surprised by how cool I had acted with the woman from the Clave. We avoided talking as we were afraid; they had planted something in our room. I could not fall asleep, so I made myself fall asleep using a rune and I woke up when Charlie threw me her pillow. "Woman, get up." She had a smile on, but she was too stressed about all this and I could not blame her. "Did you sleep something?" I questioned her, already knowing the answer. "A bit." I noticed how stressed she was and I also knew that she was going to New York and I needed to be there for her, even if I was too scare to fight the Clave, but she needed backup and I just wanted to prove that she could trust me.

We were the first ones to go and have breakfast, we went to train and tried to do our normal routine for at least an hour, but she was too unfocused. "We should go now." I told her and she just nodded. We walked back to our room, showered and I looked for my clothes. She threw a green shirt at me. "Wear that instead." She said as she ran to the bathroom. "Why?" I asked confused. "It's Saint Patrick's day." She looked at me with a wild smile. "If you're not wearing something green, they pinch you." I made a face and took the green shirt. Then, we opened a portal to New York. Jace was already waiting for us in his room, where Magnus and Alec were waiting for us. "Hold on." Magnus said and protected the place. "You know I went to London to find out about why Sebastian decided to come here." Everyone nodded. "Turns out, London's used to record everything so I have his files, but there's something weird about it."

"I knew this was not over." Jace's words went deep into me. "Last night, some people were trying to get into her laptop. I got there just in time to get the laptop and get away from there." What was so important that they needed her laptop. "Now, I'm not sure I can have a proper investigation about this." Her words struck us all and we did not know what to say.
