Emergency Walpurgis

Rimuru POV

Once we stepped out of the portal, I noticed that unlike the last Walpurgis, the location this time was a silvery world of ice and snow. In other words, this was Guy's palace. Raine continued to lead us as I assessed the damage. Half of the castle had collapsed so something big had definitely happened here.

"Hey, so you're here." Guy greeted before casting Iris and Feiyun a questioning glance but stopped himself, "I'm sure Milim and Dagruel will be here soon, so make yourself comfortable and wait for them."

He led us to a hall with several round tea tables and I noticed that the chairs were placed irregularly so that we could sit wherever we wanted. Luminas and Leon had already arrived and were seated at their tables. Behind Luminas were Pope Louis and Gunther while Alrose and Claude, both fully armed, stood behind Leon. We briefly exchanged greetings before I took my seat while Shion and Diablo stood behind me. Iris and Feiyun were relaxed enough to listen and take their seats too, though they were looking around at the damage they could see.

"Hey, what's the deal with you leaving me behind?!" A loud complaint suddenly chimed from the door

Turning to see Ramiris and her two... attendants, she seemed a little angry.

Oh, wait, we did leave her there by accident but hold on... Why did Veldora come along?!

"Wha-What? Ramiris-sama, why weren't you with us?" Raine questioned, her confusion evident in her voice

"Raine, it is unlike you to make a mistake. I received an urgent request from Ramiris-sama to pick her up." Mizeri, who had come together with Ramiris, said

Her face was battered and bruised just like Raine's but it remained as sharp as ever.

"Raine-chan, you seem to be distracted because of your injury! I was just worrying about who I should take with me, you know! But even so...!" Ramiris continued

I decided to turn my head to the incoming 'trouble' beside her while taking a cautious glance at Luminas, "Why did you come here, Veldora?"

Luminas reacted to my words and clicked her tongue, "Tsk, that evil dragon."

"Kuahahaha! I heard that there was some kind of important meeting going on, and I just couldn't miss it. I was actually planning to follow Rimuru, but it was too late, so I quickly stopped Ramiris and offered to join her!" Veldora explained

Oh, Veldora! There is a time and place for this!

"That's how it is! If Master is willing to join us, it's like having the help of a hundred people, so I hope you'll thank me for bringing him here!" Ramiris added

Beretta shook his head in lament as the two talked like this. Meanwhile, Raine had a guilty expression on her face.

"I am very sorry. I was careless..."

"It's okay, Raine! We did come in a hurry anyway!" I comforted her

"Well, since I called you here, it was only natural to hurry." Guy agreed with a nod

Since that was put out of the way, we relaxed while Raine and Mizeri went to meet Dagruel and Milim, eating some of the snacks on the table while we waited.

"What's going on, Guy? I've also got a lot on my plate. You can call for me, but you should at least contact us in advance! Frey says that's good manners!" Milim exclaimed as she entered the hall

Guy turns his head to Frey in amusement, "Is that so, Frey?"

Frey nodded with a smile, "Well, yes. Guy-sama."
