It's been two days since Caera arrived, she has been staying in the mansion with us, everyone seems to like her. Tessia and her talk a lot, most of the time it is about me, what I did in the Relictombs. I've also spoken to Caera about the rebellion in Alacrya, how Seris was doing, things like that.

I learned that there is a Nithe and a Raven over there, and supposedly they went toe to toe with Cecilia, which is quite impressive. That is what worries me though with Veer's children, he is not the most trustworthy person, and his kids are already able to find off literal gods. It was something to think about, it was something Tessia and I spoke about, it might be an issue in the future.

Caera was very intrigued by Damon and Rosa, she said they were a little different from Nithe and Raven, but even she agreed with us when I brought up my worries. She didn't know Veer like I did, but she understood the power that he currently wielded with these four beings.

We were getting ready to leave for the Relictombs, the unit was meeting up in a room within Xyrus academy, the place where we've been meeting as a council. We weren't all here, Caera and Bairon were sitting across from one another, not speaking, I didn't know why.

I told everyone not involved not to come, I didn't need people here that didn't need to be. Veer, Damon, my parents, they would just cause issues, each one for different reasons. Rosa and Ellie were getting ready when I left, so they should be here any second now. I know Jasmine was in town, and Adam was somewhere else. Mica was teleporting in soon, she had left yesterday to deal with shit going on in Vildorial, but was coming back, Veer was getting her.

'Are you sure that leaving Virion here alone is the safest option?' Regis thought to me, bringing my brother back into my mind. 'You just thought about how he was unpredictable and that you didn't know if you could trust him, but this was pretty much what you are doing at the moment.'

'I guess you are right.' I thought back to him. 'The issue with all of that is where do I trust him the most at, in the Relictombs, or here with our family, knowing that Agrona is too preoccupied to attack here again.' I paused as I thought about it, then spoke to him again within my mind. 'I know if he is here, that our parents can control him a little, but I also know now that Agrona has to worry about Seris before coming back over here, so keeping him here is the best option.'

'Wow, you really have thought about it.' Regis thought back to me with a slight chuckle. 'Don't you think your relationship with your brother is a little weird, and probably not healthy. I mean you are literally thinking about how not to deal with him, you don't trust him enough to bring him with you, that is the truth.'

'Would you?' I asked him, then went on, trying to explain myself a little better. 'I love my brother, but you saw him during the battle here, he was enjoying each life he took, and the reason he is like this is because of me, the damn Beast Will. I'm afraid to push him, you've seen it, he is on the edge.'

'Yeah, oh, and don't get me wrong, I wouldn't trust him either.' Regis thought back to me. 'Your brother is crazy, you know it, that's why you are keeping him here, that's the truth.' Regis went silent for a second, then added. 'It's not that you don't love your brother, it's that you are afraid to see him go.'

"So, you are a half-blooded vritra?" Bairon asked, looking across the table at Caera, speaking with a strict tone, snapping me out of my thoughts with Regis, which was fine, it was getting pretty depressing. "I'm assuming you didn't fight in the war against us if you are here, what did you do?"

'Not depressing, just truthful.' Regis thought to me, hearing what I had just thought in my mind. 'You'll figure it out, he's on our side it seems like, so just be happy about that for now.' I sent him a mental nod as I listened to their conversation, but how much longer will he be on our side is the real question.
