"Oh my god, we are just going round and round and round and round." I rolled my eyes and just sighed. "I don't know what I am, and I thank you for telling me, but I still don't care. I'll figure that all later, what does it matter?""It could matter, Veer." Arthur told me, and his blade lit up even more. "But you are right, it looks like no matter what I say, or you say, we won't come to an understanding." He paused and got into a fighting stance. "It seems like the only way I can get it into your head that you are wrong, is to take you down for good."
"Hahahaha." I laughed, spinning the swords in my hands, preparing to fight. "You are right about that, so I will do the same." We launched at one another, his blade coming up towards my chest, forcing me to dodge it, stepping to the side.
He god stepped to my side, I swung my sword at his head, he ducked, brought his destruction blade up towards my core region. I conjured an ice wall right in between us, which he shattered to pieces. His blade continued towards my stomach, I deflected it away, but the destruction flames destroyed my blade, and Arthur kept at it.
I held my one blade in my right hand, swinging it at his head, he back stepped, I brought it back, he back stepped again. I pushed electricity through my body, activating blood acceleration as well, making sure I was moving at my top speed.
He god stepped into me, his blade flashed upwards, almost cutting me in the face, but I dodged the sword and flames fell off it. I started to feel for his blood, but as I did, I noticed that he had two different sets, and without looking closer, I would have thought he was someone else, like he wanted to while he was in the city.
I get it now, how he managed to get in, using whatever he was to blend in, a person's blood I didn't know, impressive, Arthur, truly, impressive. My blade shot at his face, he side stepped it, brought his flaming sword up, causing me to side step as well.
I reached into his body, past the fake blood, and started to manipulate his outputs for mana and aether. "Hahaha." I laughed, blocking off all access to exterior mana, not like he needed it, all his spells were pretty much interior, pushing it through his limbs.
The blade in his hand faltered a little, it was exterior aether, but it reformed, it wasn't his, it was Regis's aether, and I couldn't control him, he wasn't made from blood. I brought my sword up, his aetheric blade came down and shattered mine, the flames were about to get on me, but I pushed them away for a minor second using void wind, allowing me to back up as they burnt through the ground.
He god stepped into me once again, not stopping his attack, as he planted his feet, I manipulated the earth below him, creating a small gap where he placed his foot, and he toppled over.
I conjured another blade and brought it up to slice his head off, but I blinked, and he vanished, using static void to get away from me. It looked like it was at the last second possible too, his eyes were wide, and I could see he was about to say something as we started walking at one another once again.
"You were going to kill me?" Arthur said, cracking his neck as he spun the sword in his hand, getting ready to attack once again.
"This is a battle, Arthur, and I am not fighting to lose." I responded, and the two of us shot at one another, our blades danced through the sky. I back stepped, conjured a black spike towards his chest, and he swung his aetheric blade through it, destroying it, then continued for me.
I couldn't do anything while he used destruction, it was powerful, I'll admit it. I didn't have anything to take care of it though, so I just had to throw everything I had at him, if Arthur wanted to fight right now at the worst moment, let him.
