Brotherly Battle Pt. I

The battle for Itri had just started, I was about to get ready to go, but first I had to make my way through Aramoor. There was a loud explosion last night that broke down a building, no one knew what happened, I looked into the minds of the people that reported it and saw nothing.

I wanted to go and see it, not knowing what had caused it. I thought I checked everybody within the city, but maybe I'm wrong, maybe there is a spy. I don't know how that would be possible, but who knows, Agrona could be attacking.

I just ignored the people I walked past, they just bowed their heads and continued on. I was not forcing them to do anything like getting down onto the ground, I didn't feel like it, and they bowed their heads willingly, I was King Virion to them.

'I liked Nithe and Raven's plan, it was clever, it makes me believe they are your actual children.' Hades said within my mind, breaking the silence that was within me. 'Well, I more mean like that you actually produced them.'

'I kind of did.' I told him, but I knew what he meant. 'Yeah, tch, with Selena, the way she acts, I may have a real child.' I could feel his laughter, I was always cautious with her, a real child would mean a lot more, and I already knew that I couldn't have one.

'You know, a real child might be the best gift you could ---' 

'No, Hades, that will not happen, I won't allow it.' I told him, feeling him slither through my body. 'I don't even know why I'm doing this.' I said, trying to change the subject. 'I should have just made Ivy ,or someone come down here.'

'You know why you are here.' Hades responded. 'Nithe and Raven are in Truacia, Ivy and Damon are out there as well, and Rosa is in Maerin, you are the only one here, and there was no reason to bring them here to check something so simple out.'

'I know, it's just, is it really worth coming down here to check out?' I only came down here because I wanted to make sure it wasn't Agrona, or Arthur, who knows, I don't, that's why I am here. 'Ehh, stupid thing to say, we are almost there, even if it was someone we know, an explosion like this wouldn't normally draw my attention.'

'Yeah, that's true, you know, Ellie is training with Kordri to get stronger.' Hades said, I knew that, she needed to get stronger, she still fought like a Lesser, and it seems like over the last two weeks he has helped with that. 'Oh, look at that.' Hades said as the building came into view, it had sunken into the ground. 'It looks like an earthquake'

I stopped in front of the building and right in front of an alley, and as I was about to speak, a citizen at the edge of the alley vanished and appeared right beside me, purple lightning danced across his body, and as his blade formed, I tried to conjure one of my own.

However, I was too late, the aetheric blade entered my stomach, going right through me, and he kicked my sword out of my hand. "Veer, it's over!" It was Arthur, dressed, well, he was a totally different person, the necklace, the damned fucking necklace that Caera wore, there were more than one of them. 

I thought I stole the last one, but I was wrong, mother fucker. I coughed up blood as Arthur held the sword in me, I reached up slowly and grabbed the necklawce he was wearing and yanked it off of him, revealing his true image.

"Veer, surrender yourself, it's over, you can see that." Arthur told me, looking at me as he twisted the sword in my stomach. "Don't make me hurt you even more, I don't want to accidentally kill you." I could feel the blood pouring out of me and dripping down my mouth.
