Devil verse Aldir Pt. I

(One Week Later)

It's been a week since everything went down, nothing else has happened, Cecilia hasn't attacked Sehz-Clar, Arthur hasn't come for me, I've been just setting up for a fight with a god. Even if I was one myself, Aldir was no ordinary god, he was a top fighter, a top asura, he could even rival me without magic.

"Virion." Selena said as she sat on the edge of my bed within our room. "I know you said that giving up Nico was okay, but you still haven't told me why? Why even give him up? What was the point?"

She grabbed my wrist as I was about to walk past her, and pulled me into her, I landed on top of her chest, straddling her as she laid back on the bed. I just looked down into her eyes as I took in her multiple questions, all meaning the same thing.

"I wanted Nico and my brother to bond again." I told her honestly. "It doesn't matter because I had Hades go into his mind and mess with his thoughts and memories, he can't tell Arthur anything about anything going on in here." I shrugged, then added. "I also needed to get Damon back, that was pretty much the key reason I took him in the first place."

I also had Hades mess with the last two months of his mind, making him realize the truth about everything, about how Cecilia killed herself on Arthur's blade. I had to place the memories over prior ones, but it wasn't like his mind wasn't already altered with by Agrona. I'm just happy Hades was able to manipulate the blood in the brain well enough that it doesn't result in brain damage.

"Oh?" Selena asked, pulling my head down and kissing me. "You really wanted him to bond with your brother?" I kissed her again, moving my head down and kissing her neck as she wrapped her arms around my neck. "I don't get it, why do you even care?"

"I don't." I answered her as I went lower, kissing her up chest. "I rather not have that annoying brat here anymore." I lied to her, moving back up and kissing Selena on the mouth, then lifted my head up, stilling straddling her as she laid on the bed, fixing my white cloak, the one Elder Virion gave me, I decided to wear this for him, for what I was going to do today. "That's it, I didn't have a need for him anymore, Arthur will return him to Cecilia at some point, and when he does, we'll go from there."

"I see." Selena said, trying to pull me back down to her, but I didn't budge. "Come on, let's keep going, I'm sure we have plenty of time." I smiled as I looked at her but shook my head. "Veer, baby, please, what if something happens to you?"

"Selena, Ivy, and Damon are about to be at the door, and yes, they aren't actually my children, I rather them not see anything explicit." She smiled as I finished speaking, then slowly got off of her. "And nothing will happen to me, if anything, I'll need to lay down in bed for a while to recover, that's it, which means we will have plenty of time to be together."

"Fine." Selena said, getting up with me, standing to my side, then smirked at me as she looked my way. "Is it bad now that I want you to get slightly injured so I have to take care of you?" I started towards the door as I felt Ivy and Damon about to get there. "Completely at my mercy, allowing me to do anything to you?"

"Yes, it's somewhat bad to think that way." I told her, grabbing the door handle. "Your mind continues to surprise me, makes me wonder if the Serpent's Will I had was actually cursed." She laughed a little as I opened the door, Ivy and Damon looked at me with a confused look, but the look quickly faded as I spoke. "Is she ready?"

"She is." Ivy said, nodding her head as she looked down the hall. "Rosa is with her at the moment." Selana and I stepped out into the hall, understanding, and the four of us started walking to where everyone else was. "Are you sure you don't want us coming with you?"
