Tessia and I were currently sitting on the front steps of the Helstea mansion, she needed some air, and I figured I would get some as well. She had her head on my shoulder, and we were just sitting there, enjoying the moment together.

Of course, my mind was on other matters, like for example, what were we going to do? We have claimed Dicathen, the living Alacryans that were stationed here were now in a camp within the Beast Glades. I planned on sending them back to Alacrya when we figured out how, I suspect that Veer could help, but I didn't really trust him.

Rosa and Ellie were getting along nicely, she was different from Damon, but I tried to stay away from her. She was too much like Sylvie, it hurt me to see her sometimes, I was still nice to her, knowing that she helped us defeat the half-breeds, but I avoided her when I could.

Speaking of Sylvie, that was another issue I had to think about, she was alive, same as Cecilia, and they were now, they were now bonded together. I didn't know what to do about all that, I knew I had to get Sylvie back, but I didn't know how to go about that, especially if she bonded with Cecilia. Veer told me their minds have been altered, and I know he wants Sylvie back as well, but I still don't know how to deal with all of that.

I know that there is a rebellion going on in Alacrya, I learned about it through Seris, Veer, Alacryan soldiers, Draneeve, and Viessa. That is why I don't think Agrona will attack us, he is most likely focused on that rebellion. Caera, she was probably with Seris, I mean, she fought alongside me, and I know she was Seris's disciple.

"Arthur." Tessia said my name. "Are you thinking about what we are going to do?" She asked, still leaning her head on me. "How we are going, you know, to tell everyone?" She was thinking about something entirely different, something I wasn't trying to think about, but not because it was bad, but because of what it brought forward.

"Kind of." I lied, not wanting to upset her at the moment, I was afraid she would be upset after I told her what I had to tell her. "Was that what you were thinking about?" I asked, my hand around her back, holding her shoulder.

"Yeah." She answered. "I don't know how my parents are going to take that I am pregnant." She paused for a second, every time I hear that, I get goosebumps. "I know they love you, Arthur, but I just don't know how they are going to handle that I am going to be having a child."

"Same." I nodded, feeling a smile forming on my face, but it quickly vanished away as I thought about certain matters that came along with telling my parents about Tessia's birth. "I think our parents will react in, well, different ways."

"What?" Tessia asked, trying to figure out what I meant. "Why will they ---" She was cut off as a portal opened up, causing the two of us to shoot to our feet. I quickly grabbed her and stepped in front of her, using one hand to secure her behind me, making sure nothing happened to her and the baby.

That was when Damon and Veer stepped through the portal, appearing in front of us like it was totally normal, the looks on their faces as they looked at us was one of confusion. I was ready to fight, I thought an enemy was about to step out of the portal, and I was about to conjure an aether blade.

'You good?' Regis asked through our mental link, he was currently guarding the Scythe, making sure she didn't try to escape. He must have felt my sudden change of emotion, that's why he spoke to me all of a sudden.

'Yeah, I'm good.' I told Regis, then spoke to my brother as he stood there. "Veer." I looked at Damon, then back to my brother. "I, you can't just teleport in like that, you caught us by surprise." He shrugged, stepping closer to me. "What were you guys up too?" I asked as the portal closed behind them and they stopped before us.
