"Uhhh!" Rosa moaned in annoyance as we sat in the Grotto. "I can't believe there is nothing we can do except sit here and do nothing." She had a point, and I understood how she could be annoyed, she did nothing, at least I got to go to Truacia and stand there, hoping that Agrona would have sent someone to fight me.

"There's nothing we can do to help father now." I said, looking at her, the others in the room were Melody, Cassandra, and Raven. "Melody, what if this doesn't work?" I asked, looking at her, our father told Cassandra and her everything, so they would know the plan if this one fails.

"Everything will lie on your shoulders." Melody answered, looking at me with a serious expression. "Virion's dreams, his goals, it'll all be passed on to you all, his children, and you will be expected to achieve them."

"Great." Rosa said. "I'm leaving, Nithe is training downstairs, trying to get back to normal, I'm going to go join him, get some frustration out by throwing punches at him." Rosa got up from her seat and made her way towards the exit.

"Do not hurt him too badly." Cassandra told her as she left the room. "Where is Selena?" She asked as she turned her attention back to us. "I haven't seen her today?" I didn't either, but I do not care for her that much, so I wasn't going to answer.

"I don't know." Melody answered. "Maybe in her room, waiting for Virion to come back." We all nodded; it didn't really seem like anyone really cared for her. "Raven, what was the outcome with Dragoth, I never got to ask how that Scythe got punished."

"Hahaa." Raven laughed a little, then began to speak. "Well, we told him that we weren't going to kill him, so instead of that, we took his arm and a leg, then left him on the ground unmoving for someone to pick up." She paused for a second, then went on. "He's still alive, just now, he has to use mana for both of his hands since father cut off the other one in his previous fight with him."

"Good." Melody answered. "He was the one who took your mother away." Sylvie, not really my mother, technically speaking my mother was Jagrette, but I would never consider that pathetic Retainer my mother. "He deserved to die, I don't know why your father insisted on keeping him alive, but then again, he wanted to make sure Agrona drops his guard, and dismembering a Scythe would do that after a win."

"I suppose." I answered, looking at her. "I still think killing him would send the same message." I suggested that they killed him, but father disagreed, I didn't argue it at all, I didn't really care, but killing him was probably the better choice. We didn't need him in the future, there was no point in keeping him alive.

"He's a Scythe, he'll be a powerful ally if we take the continent." Melody said, answering my question, telling me the same thing my father did. "But I understand your concerns, and why you would want to kill him."

"Tch, I wanted to kill him, it took all my strength not to do it." Raven said with joy as she thought about it, most likely thinking about killing him now in her head. "I wanted to so badly, oh my god, it fucking annoyed me."

"I bet." I told her, agreeing that it would annoy me if I was in that situation. "I probably wouldn't have been able to stop myself from killing him to be honest." I would have accidentally done it, plunged my sword right through his fucking throat, maybe not an accident, or well, I don't care, I would have killed him.

"Well, the job is done, that is all that matters right now." Melody added in, and that was the truth, the job was done, so talking about what we should have done was pretty much pointless. "We should really be thinking about what to do next, there is a portion of the blood army hiding in Vechor, and the elves are all back in the city above. When the time comes, we are going to have to go right back to Alacrya, so we should just prepare for that."
