Nico Sever

The remaining Scythes were all together within a room inside of Taegrin Caelum, well, besides Seris and Viessa, the reason we were here was to discuss them, but for different reasons. One was a traitor, the other was failure, oh, and I should say Cecilia and Sylvie were here.

I was sitting with Cecilia and Sylvie, the two had gotten extremely close, most likely because they were now bonded, and this wasn't the real Sylvie. It was the real Sylvie, but Agrona has manipulated her mind so much that she is a totally different person than she was beforehand.

"How are you feeling?" Cecilia asked, looking at me while we sat together on the couch, waiting for Agrona to come into the room. She had gotten back from her mission about a week ago, and ever since, she has been nothing but worried about me. "Is your core, okay"

"Yeah." I told her, speaking calmly, ever since I've been awake, the anger that I was constantly feeling before Grey damaged my core was nowhere in sight, it was a good feeling, but I still had some anger. I didn't know for who though, Grey, Virion, or Agrona, he was messing with Cecilia's mind as well. "I've been able to perform a couple spells at once, but it stills hurts at times, I'm getting there though."

I was also working on a staff, but I needed more time for it, I needed for mana crystals, and hopefully I could get them down in Agrona's lab. "That's good to hear." Cecilia said, looking at me with a smile on her face. "When I saw you laying there in the middle of the arena, I didn't know if you would ever use mana again, and I got so scared."

"I know, I'm sorry for worrying you." I told her, sending a smile back. I was worried though, I was worried that I would be a step behind her in all battles, I would never be able to defend her, and that made me sick. "It won't happen again, Cecilia."

"Yeah, come on, Nico." Sylvie said, looking at me with a glare. "Don't worry Cecilia like that, she already has too much on her plate." I rolled my eyes, Sylvie, like Agrona, was very protective when it came to Cecilia, just like her father, but in a different way, she actually cared about Cecilia.

"Sylvie, it's fine." Cecilia told her. "I'll always be there for you, Nico, you should know that." I nodded my head at those words, I could feel the gazes of Dragoth and Melzri on me, they didn't seem to be in the best of moods. They were alone, on separate sides of the room just listening to our conversation. "I'm just happy you will be back to full strength eventually; I'll need you by my side while we are out there."

"Hey." Sylvie said, looking at her, wondering what she meant by that.

"I'll need you too, don't worry." Cecilia ran a hand over Sylvie's cheek, showing a sign of affection towards her bond. "But I'll Nico with me, isn't that, right?" She grabbed my hand, looking me in the eyes.

"Yes, I would love to be with you at all times, Cecilia, even in the battlefield." I assured her, and she smiled. "I just am not ready yet, not until I figure some things out and recover a little more." I pulled my hand away, and she seemed to understand.

"You'll get there, I know you will." Cecilia said. "It'll just take time to recover, Grey did destroy your core." Flashes of the fight played in mind from those words, I didn't know if I was mad at him or not, he had somewhat calmed me down, but he did try to kill me, and the fact was, I would do anything for Cecilia still, even if it meant continuing to work for Agrona.

"You are lucky we showed up, Little Nico." Sylvie said with a sarcastic tone of voice, looking around Cecilia and at me. "If we didn't, you would have died, or just lost your magic, you should really be grateful." Agrona really made her a bitch. "Cecil, where is my father?"
