Virion Leywin

I started down the stairs, passing nobody in the process, but as I did, I sent mental messages out to a couple of people letting them know what has gone down here. They deserved to know that the man himself, Agrona, has been defeated.

The first one was to Hades, he was with Ivy right now, making sure everything was running smoothly without me. I knew I could trust him since he was basically another half of me, even with a clone there, I felt safer leaving him behind.

The others went to my children and other clones, they let the rest know that we had succeeded, and that I didn't die in the process, which was a big deal. Agrona really wasn't a threat, he might have grown stronger by absorbing mana cores from other asuras, but that simply didn't matter if I made his core useless to him.

"How does it feel?" Melzri asked from behind me as we descended. "How does it feel to finally take your rightful place on the throne of Alacrya?" I was more focused on reviving Arthur than thinking about that, but I would indulge her with my thoughts.

"How does it feel?" I said questioningly, repeating what she had just said. "Well, it feels great, but there is a lot more that I have to do." I froze on the stairs, thinking about something, and as I did, Melzri stopped as well.

"What's wrong?" She asked, sensing something was off. "Do you need me to go and do something?"

"No." I said, shaking my head. "I was just thinking, what kind of fancy foods do they have here?" I looked at her with a curious grin on my face. "I have to imagine that Agrona had the best of the best meals within this place."

"I can go and find out." Melzri said. "I've only eaten the meals he assigns for his slaves to be honest, even though I am not one, the full blooded Vritras are the only ones who got to eat the high class meals."

"I believe it." I said, responding to her, and while I was going to say I might as well keep it that way, she was an Alacryan, I didn't, doing the right thing. "Go ahead while I am doing this." I told her, pausing for a second to make sure I phrased everything correctly. "Grab the meals, store them in a mana ring, and bring them to the Grotto."

"Okay." She said, then looked at her hand, then at me. "I don't have a mana ring to use, my King." I took off one of mine, not really needing it right not, and not having anything in it that could really help me at the moment, then tossed it to her. "Thank you."

"You are welcome." I told her, then waved for her to go one. "Go get the food and meet me downstairs, we are going to be heading back to the Grotto soon, you'll be accompanying me."

"Yes, my King." She replied, then left, heading up the stairs to wherever the fucking kitchen was. I nodded to myself, thinking about everything, more the food, and then turned back down to where Arthur was.

I could sense the vritras within the base starting to move a little more at the mana fluctuations, but it didn't matter, I had clones running around, cleaning it up. My clones could not win in a one-on-one fight, that's the truth, but that did not matter when they were opening doors to hot maids and getting their throats slashed from behind. It was a dirty trick, but those are cores and horns I could use to help me, I didn't feel bad, why would I.

The Vritras here are just as responsible as Agrona, that was the truth. The only people here that didn't deserve to die where the maids, they were slaves, slaves to Agrona, and I wasn't going to kill them for doing their jobs.

I knew Regis was waiting for me, I could feel him moving around within the room, the aether was sort of angry it felt like. I was close to the bottom of the stairs now, but at that moment, I could feel something, someone else, they had awakened.
