Selena and I were standing outside the door to my brother's room, staring at Kordri who was blocking it. "You aren't going in there, Virion." Kordri told me, and I just stayed silent, thinking about this. "I don't trust you, from what I heard, you tried to kill him."

"He tried to kill me." I told him, speaking out, preparing to make him move. "Kordri, if you want to fight in this hallway, I will, so either move or I'll move you." I waited, looking into his asuran eyes, Selena's hand released from mine, and she backed away, sensing what was going to happen.

"Fine." Kordri said, and I felt the mana coursing through his body, and that's when a portal opened up to my side and Raven and Damon came stepping through, joining me, and at that suddenness, Kordri's eyes were no longer confident.

"Father." Damon said, looking at me, then Kordri. "Raven said that you needed me here?" He spoke in a questionable tone, looking for answers on why I requested him here. The portal closed and then reopened to the side of us.

I ignored Damon and spoke to Kordri. "Step through the portal, or we will force you through, it's one or the another." Kordri looked at the door, then at me, knowing he stood no chance, not after everything he'd seen and heard. "Now." I repeated, and when he went to speak, I spoke over him. "No, I don't need to hear your voice again, just walk through the portal and leave me the fuck alone."

The hallway grew silent, and as we exchanged one last look at one another, Kordri made his way into the portal, knowing he had to listen to me. I watched as he stepped through it, and the portal closed, leaving the four of us in the hallway.

"Alright, for now, I need you two to stay out here, and Selena, go and find Melody and Cassandra." My two children nodded, but Selena didn't seem to like that request. "Please, Selena, they are the only two that actually know what the plan is."

"Uhh, fine." Selena said, stepping up and kissing me, then walking away. They knew what I had originally planned, but I want to fill them in on what is next. I nodded my head at Raven and Damon and turned towards the door, feeling a rush of annoyance for some reason.

I grabbed the handle and stepped in, but as soon as I appeared within the room, an ice shard was shot at me. I side stepped and caught the shard, and looked at the person who shot it as he sat up in the bed.

"Really?" I asked, looking at him, crushing the shard into little pieces. "That's how you greet me?" I stepped further into the room and let the door close behind me, looking at my brother as he sat there with anger on his face. "I know I said some pretty rough things to you, but understand it needed to be said."

"Oh, really?" Arthur said in annoyance, clearly mad about something. "Veer, we were trying to kill one another, you think that simply will go away, you think I am happy about seeing you right now?" He spoke in a questionable tone, but I really didn't hear the question. "You wanted to be enemies and that is what we are now."

"Good point." I said, getting closer to his bed. "But we need to have a little chat, you and me, and discuss a couple of things that were said." I told him as I looked him in his golden eyes as I sat at the edge of his bed, calm, a lot calmer than him.

"I don't want to talk, Veer." He told me and I rolled my eyes. "If I could, I would fight you again right now." He says that I am the crazy one, he should really listen to himself. He is a fucking moron.

"Regis, control his attitude." I told the bond that was hiding inside of him, but this just angered Arthur a little more. "Arthur, there is something happening to me." I changed how I spoke, trying to be a little more sincere, as much as I could be. "But we need to speak about this reincarnation thing."
