Luke: He was overjoyed. You had called a few weeks earlier telling him that you kept throwing up and he was so worried, he convinced you to go to the hospital. He had expected bad news, being the worrywart he was, he was convinced you had developed some kind of cancer, and his thoughts tormented him for weeks. But to hear this...that in six months he would be a father; that there was a tiny person in you that was part him and part you, was the best news he could think of, he was overjoyed, and when you finally hung up- after discussing things ranging from baby names, nursery designs, and gender predictions, to diaper costs, preschool options and maternity clothes-he sat on his bunk and smiled, tears in his eyes "I'm going to be a dad" he said out loud to himself, barely even able to believe it.
Calum: He was worried. After hearing about it he was ecstatic, until you started telling him about your symptoms, you explained to him that you were suffering from all manner of aches and pains, your morning sickness was extreme, and you were seriously dehydrated, even having to spend a week under twenty four hour surveillance in a hospital. You told him how your ankles had swollen up and your knees ached, you told him about your stiff joints and your agonising back. You told him about your mood swings and your weight gain. And he listened patiently, cursing himself with each word, he knew he had caused it, for it was his child in you that was creating all this stress. He wished to be with you, but he couldn't so he did the next best thing, he had you moved into his parent's house, he wouldn't take no for an answer "I want to know that you are being well taken care of, I will not have you living all alone in our apartment, no way" he had said firmly over the phone, staring at the ceiling of the tour bus and trying to picture your face.
Ashton: He was encouraging. He let you cry over the phone, he listened to your sobs, knowing every one was his fault, each one was like a kick in the ribs, knowing how much pain he had caused you hurt him more than anything else could. "We will make it through this" he said softly, staying strong for you, he desperately wanted to hold you in his arms, to kiss your temple. "We are going to have this baby and we are going to be incredible parents okay?" He murmured "I love you" he assured you. He listened to you cry about how angry your parents were, how your education was lost, how you would never have a good body again, what you're friends would think of you and everything in between, and he knew it was all his fault.
Michael: He was incredulous. You had been trying so long to get pregnant but nothing had worked, you thought maybe something was wrong, but you didn't want to face it, if there was something wrong you didn't want to know. "Ignorance is bliss" you had always argued when Michael insisted that you both get tested. But now after two years the little blue plus had appeared, it was there, you checked ten times, and Michael was overcome with his joy, he could barely contain his tears or his laughter as you talked "I'll be home in two weeks" he promised, unable to wipe the wide smile off of his face.
