Operation hide stinky was into its fifth day. OldOne had confirmed that the alcohol bath it took really did give it some brain damage, otherwise it was a healthy creature. So now Stinky was now a placid pet for the pups. I still haven't told Dar'ke yet, an I can't get within 3 hallway lengths to tell Hopper either.

Mind you Hopper has turned the ship upside down an inside out. He was a male on a mission of revenge. So Kiki an Ceillia have been sleeping in the store room. Which is probably a good thing, as Kiki looks after stinky at night.

Mind you Stinky only seemed to obey Sha'Ons commands. Using bug parts he has trained Stinky to stand up, roll over an come to him when he calls its name. That's pretty impressive for only a few days with an injured animal.

I felt bad that stinky probably will never be the same as it was...but was that really a bad thing? I could cure it with a few drops of tonic. Its personality seemed much better this way. I would keep an eye on the situation.

The only down side of having Stinky here, was that stinky hated being alone when the pups went to training. OldOne had set up a barrier to keep it contained but it would make loud screeching noises.

I would now, just put stinky on my neck an he sleeps there under my hair as I work in the kitchen. Thats only when the pups are gone. When they are here I hand him back to the pups. Ceillia, Zak an Singh know of Stinky now. From the screeching noises from before.

Ceillia was not happy that we kept it a secret from her. She thinks Stinky is very cute an a good pet for the kids. She said we will need a lot of snacks to calm down Hopper. She is gonna help with a plan to help keep stinky alive.

Singh had just laughed an thought it was amusing that Stinky had been causing so much trouble. He thought stinky was in it's full right to do what it did. Given the situation an the size differences of Dar'ke an Hopper to Stinky.

He an Ceillia gotten into a deep discussion about it...I feel a little bad for Hopper now that Singh an Ceillia were getting along so well. Singh also made a little collar for Stinky. It had a tracker on the tiny dog tag. That was shaped like a little leg bone. Stinky's name was even engraved into it.

Zak didn't care either way he just said that "You do your business, I do mine an we go our different ways" an left it at that. He was very indifferent for the most part. Mind you he would sneak off for a few hours at a time now an then. I wonder if he had an interest on the ship?

I looked at the scan that OldOne had done to see if we could remove the glands that caused the gross smell. OldOne said that would be like disarming a crippled hunter. An that there would be no honor in that.

He said that given that the pups are young if they can train stinky to spray on command. In any given direction or on any target in the future, it could prove to be valuable.

Not gonna lie when he told me that all I could think in my head was 'Stinky/Lil'Pauker! I choose you! Quick do assbutt attack! Spray them again!' Like a messed up version of yautja pokèmon...

From Wilson, to Lil'Pauker to Stinky...this little one has been getting around. An its the same one, as it still had a broken frill on its neck from when I bashed it with a pan away from Dar'ke a few years ago.

To my recollection Maini hasn't found another like this one on the home planet. Could Stinky be the last of his species? Was Stinky even a he? Or a She? Or a they? It's hard to tell.

I had to put that out of my mind as we were a day out from the human base that we needed to take care of. Luckily there wasn't a colony attached to this base so it should be a quick in an out job.
