Chapter 329

With the pups settled with Chris an Ceillia I take a dinner tray into EKate. She was sleeping peacefully, Lisa mentioned that EKate should change soon. I didn't want to wake her, but she needed food for her health.

She looked like she was in sea of comfortable clouds. I put the tray down on the table besides the bed. I stroke her cheek an lightly chitter to her, to wake her up.

She snuggles deeper into the furs and pillows, not wanting to wake. I start to Chatter loudly. I am rewarded with a one eye glare.

Yup, she is definitely Are'tes pup!

"EKate, you need to wake up..." I say to her.

She let's out a little grunt, then she gets a shear look of panic on her face as she jumps up an dash's to the cleansing room.

What in the Paya...?

You know what I am better not to know. I grab a chair an wait patiently by the bed. There is a strong smell of Ooman blood. Did all Ooman females go thru this? Chris mentioned to me that this can last a few days to more then a week depending on the female. I would have to make more iron rich foods and would have a look at better snacks for EKate.

The blood smell fades an EKate comes out shortly. She looks very pale...

I get up an scoop her off her feet to tuck her back into bed again. She looks a little embarrassed. I shake my head at her, chittering at her small cute features. "You need to eat!" I chatter at her grumpily. "I am not leaving until it's all gone.." I say to her with my grumpy chatter.

I hear her sigh, I reach over then I pop the tray so it becomes a stable table on the bed for her. I had brought her a rich stew with meat, tomatoes, herbs an blended up deep green leafy plants. Chris figured EKate would be able to handle in a stew rather, then a normal health potion that I give Chris an Ceillia.

It looks like the suggestion is a success! Admittedly some of the potions are very bitter an can be difficult to swallow. However you can't argue with the results!

EKate looked very sleepy after finishing her stew. I took the tray away an tucked her back into bed. She looks at me with a sleepy smile. "Thank you Mar'cte..." she says to me before passing out.

My hearts went ba-dump!

I just about fell over!

I gather the tray up an head out quietly. I am getting to old for this! I scold myself.

I was sending my group up with Fa'tae as per Sa'ke orders. I see As Zak  an Zu'ko bringing down their ships. The plans changed due to the type of Oomans here. So we would allow the unblooded to hunt for a few hours away from the Oomans then we would go an observe the Oomans for an hour or so.

A few times we almost got caught earlier today! However we had luck watching over us...

Well that or it was Chris being over protective of us! I mean either way I was happy. I had a feeling she was watching us during this hunt.

After we leave here there is a planet we are going to hunt on for a month in rotations. A lot of unblooded were excited for that.

I see Zak an Zu'Kos groups depart from the 2 ships. Zu'Kos group looked a bit sick. He still had some issues with piloting, he was doing better. Lu'Nye an I were helping him get his skills up along with Sa'ke guidance.

I go over an let Zak and Zu'ko know of the plans. They nodded to head off with their groups. Zu'ko looked hyper focused while Zak just looked annoyed. I am sure Zak is turning into the younger version of Mar'cte!
