Chapter 331

I had Scrapper at my side we had found a decent prey animal. I let him tag it, however the issue was for me to allow him to hunt it....I would have to let go if the energy restraints. Given our talk before with the threat Chris gave him earlier it should be okay...

Right??

I was really second guessing myself on this. He did have to learn and he wasn't going to learn by me lecturing him. I said a few slient prayers before I turn to Scrapper.

"Scrapper, in a few seconds I will release your restraints. Make sure to get a clean kill, the less knicks in the skin the better value you will get for the leather an hide of your prey." I say to him encouragingly.

I could tell he rolled his eyes at me. I didn't punish him since he wasn't back talking to me this time!

I give him the signal as I release his restraints. He runs towards the prey at first then, abruptly changes direction to a swampy area towards the western side.

PAUK!

"Dee, Scapper got away. I am after him now. He is heading west..." I reported in. I wasn't taking any chances not reporting this little chit!

He was heading towards the Oomans!

I run after him at top speed. I take a route that I know I can get ahead of him. When I get to the point on the map where I should have intercepted him.

He isn't here...?

I look around confused as the tracker was showing he was right here?

I look around an scan the murky swamp waters as I am standing on a large tree root. I can see many beasts an creatures...

Suddenly I hear a splash behind me  as I turn my head to the sound. I feel a hand hit the back of my neck! The electric shock stuns me before knocking me out completely.

"Half breeds should die!" I hear Scrapper victory chatters.

"Wha..." I chattered out before the darkness takes me.

I dance around happily! The shocker I stole from Sire Hoppers tower really came in handy! I see Lu'Nye passed out onto the tree roots. I pull him up so he is out of the water.

I am gonna try an bargain with the Oomans. So they can kill this half breed! Then possibly having the Oomans drop me off at another planet. Where I can meet up with the purests.

I tag Lu'Nye like he is prey...well he is he is the Oomans prey!

I chitter to myself, amused by what I have done.

I make sure to hide him under some large leafs an ferns. I didn't want my bargaining tool to disappear on me. After I am satisfied that he is well covered I take off in the directions of the Oomans.

Although I hated learning Ooman language during training. It would be a valuable skill now!

I cloaked than run towards the Ooman ship. I don't see Dee or anyone pursuing me. I caught a bit of luck!

I felt a sudden chill in the air that makes me stop completely. I look around, I don't see anyone...

An the abomination registered on our maps before. I don't see her on map at all...

It felt like she was watching me...?

But from where...?

I whip my head around in all directions an see nothing! I feel a cold grip on the back of my neck. I feel paralyzed!

Then as suddenly as I felt cold, it was warm again in the swamp?

My hearts just about beat themselves out of my chest! I take slow deep breathes to try an stabilize myself.
