I was feeling better after a little nap. Even though I only sleep in short bursts right now, they seem to be getting a little longer over time. Also Dar'ke an Sooni were both very comfy Space kitties to curl up with!

Rakkii was letting out growls as she wanted her freedom. She loves to explore so much! Luna seemed to be following her sister more. They were not happy to be locked in a puptent together.

They were going to be independent a lot faster then Jay'Ve an Sha'On were. Maybe another 2 weeks an they would be on to solid foods. Just in time for Maini an Tanomi to give birth. Sooni told me that females often grow faster then males in times of good nutrition.

An with the way these 2 ate, they were well looked after! I had to eat like a pregnant Hopper to keep up with the demands!

I see Rakkii giving me the stink eye. Luna tries to Mimics her an it is so adorable!!!

"Sooni it's been a couple of days, we only have 3 more until they can meet their siblings right?" I ask Sooni who was laying on the bed looking at reports she shouldn't be looking at.

Sooni let off a huff sound. "If I can get it cleared by Maini they can start to see some of their siblings starting tomorrow. Rakkii would be fine as she is Older, Luna there is a little more of a concern. As long as you are close by Chris with your 'cure all' milk reserves, I think it should be okay." Sooni says to me with an amused chitter as she sits up.

"Thank you Sooni!" I say to her as I go over an hug her tightly. She let's off the cutest of purrs.

"So what is the plan moving forward?" I ask her as I stroke her cheek.

Sooni looked at the pups then to me. "Right now we makes sure our littlest ones are safe for the next 2 months. Including Maini's an Tanomi's pups. After that you an I will be doing training exercises. Maini is going to talk to the Ooman mind healer Lisa tomorrow. They are going to work on a plan to help you, Chris" she says as she strokes my hair away from my cheek.

"So the family is gonna be rebuilding me Mind, body and Soul?" I tease her.

Sooni chitters at me "Something similar to that. We will be your hearts to keep you grounded as you go thru this process. You are not alone Chris, we will be here with you." She says to me in a comforting tone.

"So does that include a few drunken nights at the hot springs with just us gals?" I poke her in her arm playfully.

Sooni Growls at me playfully "Of course!! Mind you not to much alcohol so that you drown in the water!" She says to me in a scolding tone.

Yeah I felt a lot better now. Just then the sheild disk shorts out. Rakkii an Luna make a crawl for the open door way. Sooni an I catch them in lightening speed.

"Faulty machine..." Sooni growled out.

"I don't think that's what it is Sooni. I think Rakkii might have an ability..." I say to her as Rakkii throws her little arms an legs in a tantrum that her escape plans failed.

"Chris...are you sure about that?" Sooni asks me in a worried tone.

I think back to all the times back on Waraxes ship. Rakkii was very much her name sake as she was very lucky. Could she have the power to have luck changed in her favor?

"...I think so Sooni but we won't know the full extent to it until she is older..." I say as I purr to Rakkii to calm her down.

"You sound like you have an idea what it might be Chris...Feel like sharing?" Sooni asks me.

"I think she has a lucky ability..." I realize how silly that sounds.

Sooni chatters at me "Chris, having luck isn't an ability..." she says to me with a huff  in her voice.
