Dar'ke had given me a quick 2 day course on how the bridge works as well the authority to dispatch at will. The senior Clan members didn't have any issues with this. The only ones that seem to have any protest were the young ones.

However given the information that was given to us by Zak, it was highly likely those chits were under Waraxe's orders. I mean I wasn't surprised by the information. I knew Zu'ko was ...off. I did feel bad for him an his sister.

Singh also found out how to disarm the bombs easily. He already disarmed all the ones in the spies on the ship including the one in Zu'Kos neck. Not that Zu'ko knew that as Singh was able to do that by walking by him using his ability.

His ability allowed his to disarm the explosives and the replication process of the bugs, but still allowing the signal to go through. So WarAxe can press the remote button all he wants. Singh essentially took away his batteries!

Hopper has been rampaging while hunting. Mind you he had some amazing kills. Ceillia has been really worried about him. I helped calm her nerves, OldOne helped to by telling her he just needs to get it out of his system.

The pups an OldOne have been keeping her busy. I was so proud of them. I felt more useful helping out with ship duties, mind you my heart will always be in the kitchen here.

Dar'ke returned to the bridge after doing 2 training classes back to back. He looked tired but he was pushing through. I think I he has had 2 short naps in the last 2 days. Given that he was self proclaimed in the best shape in years. He really did show why yautja Brawlers have the stamina an the strength.

I briefed him on all the reports that have come in. The hunt was going well, a lot less problems this round. Home was good, I even got to talk to Sooni. She seemed outraged that I was taking on this position. When I told her it felt like less work being on the bridge then being in the kitchen. She swore a lot, then told me she will be speaking to Dar'ke an OldOne when we got home.

She was still a bit shy but it was good to hear from her. Hearing Tanomi shouting' finally you two are talking!' From the background had us both cracking up with laughter.

Dar'ke runs his hand thru my hair, its gotten longer an more 'wild'. It was looking more like a ferice lions mane. When I got some private time I would put a hair mask on it, but for now a simple hair tie helps to keep it in check when I am in the kitchen.

I nuzzle my face into the palm of his hand. "Chris you need to go rest now, I can take over." He said to me gently.

"I'm fine.. plus I should help out in the kitchen. OldOne an Zak have been very good about taking care of Ceillia an the pups. They probably need a bit of a break as well." I said to Dar'ke.

He looked like he was going to start arguing with me. He paused instead "...Has Zu'ko approached you and Zak yet?" He asks me.

"So far he sent a written confession to Zak. We are going to all be meeting up today or tomorrow. Then once Hopper gets back, Zu'ko will need to speak to you three. I mean from there with what's you decide to do with him..." I say to Dar'ke as we walk to the side room away from the others.

"Do you have any attachment to this male?" Dar'ke asks me.

I thought about it..."To be honest Dar'ke I don't. However I don't know if you feel it too but my mark burns when I am around him. I think Paya is saying he is the key to whatever happens in the near future. I don't think it's a coincidence that I left him alive in the arena as well. There is something more to this then we can see right now..." I said to him as I gave him a hug.

"I don't like this..."he said with a little growl.

"Well technically you don't like a lot of things Dar'ke." I tease him as I look up at him.
