Chapter 230

I was waiting for Darkness to come to this side of the planet. We were in the hours of dusk, our teams were getting restless. Most of the Ooman females from the base had made it into the colony. From the Ooman communications we know that all colonists will be locked in their colony shortly.

I was just waiting on that as well we watch as a few Oomans make their way from the base to the colony. The check point then closes its doors. I would give it atleast 30 more minutes just incase...

Lu'Nye was busy trying to swap stories of some of the older hunters. To help relax everyone and pass the time quicker. Fa'tae was doing the same on his ship. I move our ship to a closer position to the Ooman base.

Fa'taes team would go and position themselves around a guard outside while Lu'Nye and I sneak inside. Once we cut power and communications I will activate the shield around the Ooman colony. Once my team confirms that shield is up and in place they will join up with Fa'taes team. They will do a grid sweep like hunt from the outside into the base.

I signal to Lu'Nye to come follow me, it was time to get the last piece in place before we hunted. Lu'Nye followed and kept close, we waited until they did their normal checks and we were able to sneak past the guards. These ones had full body armor, as well as full weaponry. Some had scanners on there helmets, If we were in our normal cloaking we would have been caught easily.

We pass by a room that is filled with bio masks of all different types as well as detached arms with gauntlets attached. They still had the self destructive armed thank Paya that would make things easier later on!

We make a full scan of the base. About 300 Oomans more in the lower levels. There is a weird energy force in the lowest level. There is no live yautja in this base. There are bits an piece's of male yautja all over the place in specimen jars and other weird things. I really didn't want to think about it.

The yautja tech they had was more modern then the last base. There was also a large amount of other alien technology. A large portion was engineers technology. I see a file on a desk near by that reads in Ooman. Project  S.P 1

I attached a device to a console an order my team to download all the Ooman data bases. This seemed to important to ignore. Lu'Nye signal me that he found the power source of the base. I get him to wait there as I make my way to the communication and security room.

Oh my signal we kill the Oomans in our area and take out the power and communications at the same time! I put the shield up around the colony and Fa'taes team takes care of the outside Oomans silently!

It was time for the hunt to begin!

I watched the reports come in from the hunt. They have done the first phases perfectly. Hopper was hovering around me as I kept pulling up video feeds. Our hunter ls were doing very well.

The Oomans in the colony seemed unbothered by the shield that went up around them. They thought that finally Weyland did something to protect them while they were doing an experiment of some type. I thank Paya for the extra luck and blessing on this hunt!

"Dar'ke...do you think we should get the pups ready?" Hopper asks me.

"We can once they have cleaned out half the Oomans. I rather not do it before then. They seem rather hyper to be visiting a hunting ground. I would prefer them not to be so wound up..." I said to Hopper as check in Lu'Nyes feed as I see him pull the spine out the front of an Ooman male before ripping his head off. He had a decent technique for it. I would have to teach him there is a better hand placement so the ribs don't cut up his hands as badly.

"Ohhhh that was a good kill..." Hopper says as he watches the video feed with me. I hear the sound of rustling paper and crunching sounds behind me. I look back and see that Hopper has his hand in a package of Ooman treats called cookies. Hopper looks at me "Don't judge me! I stress eat due to your Ooman DAR'KE!" He mockingly growls at me.
