I arrived to our room in a huff! I have looked everywhere for her! How could she disappear from even our scanners!?!?

I can't believe I said something like that, to accidentally upset Chris so much. I have to make it up to her. I can't lose her like I lost Krysis! I try to calm myself as I enter our room. I see that Dar'ke is sitting on the couch going over reports. I can see that Luna an Rakkii are curled up in a deep sleep together. They were rather cute together...

I went an sat on the other couch. "Dar'ke...I am sorry. I didn't mean to lash out like that at you. I just..." I chattered to him, not knowing the words.

Dar'ke let's out a sigh. "Sooni I understand how you feel. I feel the same panic as you do. I will accept your apology." He says to me as he goes back to the reports.

I don't understand how he can be so calm! If he feels the same panic shouldn't he be helping to! Just then I remember something Vil'Lai told me before. "Dar'ke with the blessing mark can you tell where she is?" I ask him hopefully.

He shakes his head no. "Chris has severed much of the connection between us, so I wouldn't feel the physical pain she is in. I can still feel hints to her emotional well being. However when it comes to her location she has cut that off, she only activates it when nessacary. Sooni we need to give her time alone. The only thing I can feel from her right now is a deep sense of sadness an anger." He says to me carefully.

I felt sick "That's all the more reason for us to find her an make her feel better!" I say to him in annoyance.

"Sooni...when Krysis died we all went through a major grieving period. We all needed out space alone while we processed things. Admittedly we haven't always been on the best of terms with one another. Just trust me on this..." Dar'ke says to me softly.

"Dar'ke, Chris isn't grieving is she? She is a part of our family!..." Just as I am about to say more. I stop as Dar'ke gives me a glare I have never seen before.

"Sooni did you read the report?" He asks me. He was referring to the one that he had sent back to me once we were able to contact one another.

"I read thru most of it, why...?" I ask him confused.

"Sooni read it now while pups are resting. I will answer questions if you have any..." he says to me in a commanding manner. Something I never seen him pull on me ever!

I just let out a growl as I pull up the report. There were added entries on it from Singh as well as Vil'Lai from Ceillia's point of view.

It was horrific...

It was showing strength that I have never seen before. I realize now how insulting that question was to Chris. That would be like someone questioning my ability be a Matriarch!

I pauked up...

This is what Lisa called a land mine of a topic. I thought the Ooman Healer was just being foolish. Her words were unfortunately true in many ways.

"Dar'ke...did that really happen?" I ask him in disbelief of the report.

He nods "Sooni it happened, an to a point is still happening for her. I have seen Warriors an Hunters that have gone thru much less an seen what it has done to their minds. We need to be here when Chris needs to find us. Until then we need to be patient, an when she is here we need to include her. I am probably the worse one here for being overprotective with her. I won't do that anymore...no that's not right. It more that I can't do that anymore Sooni. If I, or you do that to her we could end up losing her forever..." he chatter to me softly in a sad an defeated tone.

I sat back still upset, but I understood where he was coming from. "So we take the Ooman healers advice then?" I ask him.

"We will probably need to see her a few times a week when she comes to talk to Chris." Dar'ke says to me as he puts his reports away.
