Chapter 232

I was in the kitchen as I feel a sudden pain in my heart. I double over when cutting vegetables. OldOne and Ceillia rush to me. "Chris what's wrong!?!" Ceillia asks me in a panic.

I held up a finger so I could try and catch my breath. I am gripped by another sharper pain. It feels like someone is gripping my heart and is about to pull it out. OldOne and Kiki are chittering besides me.

It takes me a few minutes to catch my breath. "Okay that's new...Ceillia OldOne do you mind if I borrow Kiki to go to the medical bay?" I ask them.

"Chris..."Ceillia says while hugging me.

"Don't worry Ooma Chris! I will make sure you get there safely! You can count on me! I can go right Ooma?" Kiki turns to Ceillia. Ceillia nods at her as does OldOne.

Kiki helps me up and she holds my hand as we leave the kitchen and head to the medical bay. When we arrive the healers are frighten that I am there.

I explain to them what's going and the pain and I just wanted to make sure my pup was safe. They did a scan and sent a report to Maini. They only thing that they found was that I had the beginnings of another hypertension episode brought on by stress. Similar to what happened when I was pregnant with Jay'Ve and Sha'On.

They recommended that I drink lots of fluids and to spend the next few days resting. If I feel any other symptoms to come back and they will get things taken care of. They also showed me the scan of my female pup. She was adorable!!

Kiki was looking at the scan with starry eyes! "Ooma Chris is that your pup! She is gonna be beautiful!" Kiki says to me with a tone of wonderment.

"I just want her to be healthy and happy." I say to her honestly. I still had a nagging feeling that something wasn't right. Maybe it was all in my head...?

I shook my head and arrived back at the kitchen. I see worried looks from OldOne, Ceillia and Zak. The healers probably sent the report down already. "Okay I won't fight you all I am going to rest..." I say putting my hands up.

They looked at one another a little confused and worried. OldOne comes up to me. "Chris, I am gonna take you to your room to rest. Dar'ke will be back shorty. He..." OldOne stammers off.

"He is being over worried like always. Right...?" I say to them as I see them looking at one another. I feel another pain in my heart.

I look over at OldOne and give him an icy glare! "WHAT...HAPPENED!?!" I say thru my teeth.

The as I feel the pain gripping me tighter I try and do long breathing to lower my blood pressure. "Chris...Something happen..." Before OldOne finishes.

I dash my pregnant body down to the docks. I get there and I see they're ship is getting ready to land. I am panicking. As it lands as I run up as the ramp comes down. I see Hopper Who quickly looks away from me, I see Dar'ke who just turns around after getting up from the pilots seat.

I look around the ship desperately. Dar'ke calls my name sadly "Chris..." I fall to my knees. An I let out the most mournful and tormented wail. My babies are gone...?

I see the horrific scene as Chris rushes up the ramp towards us. The look on her face when she sees me and Dar'ke but not her pups. It was devastation... Dar'ke had just Caught her as she fell but she let out wails I haven't heard in a long time.

I nod to Dar'ke and leave the ship to give them privacy. The animalistic wails that Chris was letting out were identical to Vil'Lai when we first lost our first set of pups...So many years ago.

It's a haunting sound that you can never forget. I message for everyone to stay away from the docks for the moment from inside the ship. I get Dee and Fa'tae to bring their ships in as we needed to travel quickly.
