Yu's POV:
"Pst, wake up," a soft voice says, stroking my cheek.
I hold the hand to my face, slowly opening my eyes.
As soon as they open, they widen immediately after.
"What's the matter?"
"Shin?" I ask.
"Yeah?"
I sigh, rolling onto my back, groaning at the pain.
He props himself up on his side next to me.
"I can't remember a thing of last night," I admit.
"You were pretty wasted."
"God. What did I do?"
"Oh, you know, open your wounds 'n' shit. No big deal."
I take the blanket off us, and look down to my chest. Damn.
"I should not have looked," I say, flinching.
"It's okay," he gently strokes the bandages. "We're getting there."
"Christ, Shin, I'm not carrying a baby."
He laughs, and I soon find myself laughing along with him.
"Nanako and Dojima left, didn't they?" I ask.
"Mhm. Just you and me," he smirks.
I chuckle. "Won't your parents be worried that you didn't come home?"
"Nah. Yosuke probably covered for me."
"How do you know?"
"He just would have."
"Alright," I nod.
Shin gets up and pulls on his shirt with his back to me.
"Uh," I say, still laying down. "Did... anything else happen last night?"
He pauses for a moment. "No."
"I remember playing the King's Game, and that's it."
"It got pretty boring after a while," he shrugs, putting his pants on.
"Did you enjoy it?"
"Yeah. It was fun."
I smile, when I notice something on the left side of his neck.
"What happened?" I ask, pointing to the bruise, sitting upright.
"You," he replies, simply.
"What?"
"You did it," he says. "Last night."
"I- I did?" I stutter.
"Yeah," he smiles. "Don't be shy about it," he chuckles.
"I'm embarrassed," I admit. "Did I do that in front of everyone?"
"Yeah."
"Damn it," I sigh.
"Hey, don't worry," he assures me. "Next time will be better."
I quickly shake my head. This isn't right.
"Where are you going?" I ask, watching as he heads for the door.
"I thought you might be hungry."
"I don't expect you to cook for me."
"Oh, I'm not," he laughs. "Get dressed; we're going out for breakfast."
