"I'm telling you, I'm not going to your stupid club!" I shout to Eddie as I grab my keys from the side, I make my way to the front door in a hurry, filled with anger.

"Fine! Where are you going now?" Eddie doesn't quite shout, but he's being louder than usual, all because he's insisting I join Hellfire because one of the kids has backed out. His eyebrows knit together as his obvious annoyance turns to confusion.

I shoot him an angry look as I swing open the door, not bothering to reply. I storm to my car and turn on the engine, watching as Eddie stands near the steps with his hands in his jeans pockets. He looks completely lost as he watches me leave. I let my built up tears fall as soon as I drive out of the trailer park, they flow and flow as I drive mindlessly around Hawkins, my mind hops from one thought to another.

Does Eddie think we've broken up?
What if he does something stupid?
Will he forgive me?

I guess I'm overreacting by storming out like that, but Eddie's been so persistent about this even when I've told him I have no interest in Dungeons and Dragons. It's a massive part of his life, I know, but we have other things in common and somehow we still work.

I spend hours in my car, occasionally parking up before feeling too twitchy and needing to drive again to fight back the next round of tears. The sun soon sets until the roads become pitch black and a little foggy. As I drive on the main road my headlights begin to flicker and my heart skips a beat.

"No, no, no, please not now." I curse as the car splutters. I pull into a layby just as the car finally dies. Shit, it's almost midnight and I'm stranded, I don't have a phone and I haven't seen a single car pass me for the last twenty minutes. The fog is quite bad now and I feel myself panic.

Fear looms inside of me as I look around. Every tree looks ominuous and the only light comes from a dim streetlight beside my car. It's chilly since it's October and I didn't grab my coat when I left. My overactive imagination gets the better of me and I struggle to breathe.

Shit, come on Y/N you've got to keep it together. I take a deep breath in, then out as my windows build with condensation. My eyes look beside me to see a shadow I didn't notice before, is it a wolf? A killer?

I freeze until I squint at it, my shoulders slump when I realise it's a payphone, so I hesitantly step into the night and run to it. I put some coins into the slot and dial the first number I think of whilst shivering like crazy.

"Hello?" Eddie slowly drawls, immediately his voice comforts me, but them I remember I'm supposed to be mad at him.

"Eddie, I'm stranded on the main road leading into Hawkins, can you call someone for me? I'm kinda terrified." I weakly say, my body trembles as a cold breeze blows.

I hear Eddie inhale sharply, "Are you okay? Did something happen? I'll be there in ten minutes." He rambles quickly without giving me time to answer any of his questions.

"Eddie you're twenty minutes away-" I frown.

"I'll be there in ten." He sternly reassures me before putting the phone down. Feeling a little more relieved knowing that at least someone knows where I am, I get back into my car, my fingers anxiously drum the steering wheel until I see headlights pull up behind me ten minutes later. I freeze until a familiar figure hops out, not even closing the door as the engine continues to run.

Eddie rushes to me as I meet him halfway on shaky legs, his arms immediately wrap around me and I can't help but to hug him back, breathing him in as I shiver.

"Are you alright? You had me so worried, I thought something had happened to you-" Eddie worriedly says.

"I'm okay, my car just broke down is all. Eddie I'm sorry, I didn't mean to snap-" I mumble, Eddie shushes me and kisses the top of my head, leading me to his van. He holds the door open as I get in, then he jogs to his side and climbs in, turning the heating on full blast as I rub my hands together.

"It's okay, I should've listened to you instead of being selfish, I'm sorry." He murmurs. Eddie takes my hands in his and blows hot air into them before pressing a kiss to each of my fingers.

Finally glad we're okay again, I slump into the seat as Eddie lets go of me and proceeds to drive us back to his trailer.
