"What's wrong?" I whisper to Eddie as we walk down the corridor side by side, I tried reaching for his hand but he pulled it away and tucked it into his pocket.

Eddie smiles down at me and shrugs, "Nothing." I frown at his easy dismissal and walk faster away from him.

"Hey, did I do something wrong?" Eddie asks catching up to me, his hand grabs my shoulder as we stand in the middle of the busy cafeteria. I move to let someone pass as I sigh.

"You're not acting like we're dating, it's like your ashamed of me or something." I mumble, feeling a mixture of embarrassment and annoyance.

Eddie looks around, noticing how our friends at the Hellfire table are watching our interaction with intensity.

"I'm not ashamed, I just...screw it." Eddie murmurs before grabbing my waist and pulling me towards him. My face must show my surprise because Eddie smirks and draws a hand up to my chin, he tilts it up as he leans down and presses a kiss to my lips softly.

I gasp into the kiss, which only allows Eddie to deepen it. If he weren't holding my waist, I'd definitely be falling forward. There's a few whistles from some students, and Eddie leans back, remembering where we are.

"Did that feel like I'm ashamed of us?" Eddie breathily whispers against my lips. I shake my head feeling my breath come fast.

Eddie grins and wraps an arm around my shoulders, leading me to our usual table.

"Guys, it's about time I introduced you to my girlfriend." Eddie proudly announces, grabbing my hand and bringing it to his lips.

"But we've known Y/N for ages, how are we only just finding out?" Gareth asks looking between me ane Eddie as if he's more shocked than anyone.

"Please, it was obvious!" Dustin exclaims over his lunch. I shake my head ruefully, glad they all know.
