A few hours had passed since Ezra and the others had left for the rescue mission. Chopper had behind on the Ghost for safety precautions, just in case the Empire shows up. Hera was piloting the Phantom towards the entrance of the prison base, but the adrenaline was getting to Zeb, who was annoyed by Hera's flying!
Zeb: I wouldn't mind getting my feet back on solid ground for a while!
Ezra: Come on, Zeb! Where's your sense of adventure?!
Zeb: (Groans) Can't you make this ship go any slower?!
Hera: Would you like to fly the Phantom and not get us all caught?!
Zeb: I would as a matter of fact!
Sabine just rolled her eyes at Zeb and Hera fighting over their flying problems before turning to Ezra!
Sabine: You think that they would be a bit more concerned about the Empire shooting us down than landing safely?
Ezra: Yep!
Hera: Alright guys, you've got 30 seconds! Kanan, you go first. Zeb, you go next. Ezra, you go third. Sabine, you go last!
However before Kanan could open the hatch, Zeb changes his mind!
Zeb: Now wait a minute, Ezra's the one who was the most experienced with the Empire the last time, so I think that it's only fair that he should go with Kanan!
Ezra smiled at Zeb's request just as Kanan jumps out to land on the base! Ezra immediately gets up in concern for his Master, as he watches Kanan lands on the ground safely before he turns to his Student!
Kanan: I'm alright!
Ezra: (Sighs with Relief but Gasps in Fright when he sees some Stormtroopers closing in on his friend!) Specter-One, look out!
Kanan sees what Ezra is trying to warn him about, just as one of them pins him down to the ground!
Kanan: (Groans) Let me go!
Ezra gasped in fear as he watches the person who has been like a Father to him the last few days is pinned down to the floor!
Ezra: Kanan!
One of them forces Kanan to sit up while the other contacts the Grand Inquisitor over their comlink!
Stormtrooper: Sir, we've captured Kanan Jarrus, but we still have to find the others!
Grand Inquisitor: Very well, deal with Young Skywalker and the others first! But remember, I want them alive!
Stormtrooper: Yes sir!
At the very thought of Ezra being hurt, Kanan struggles against the Stormtrooper holding him back!
Kanan: Leave him alone, you guys... Or you're gonna answer to me!
The three of them are too busy with their conversation, that they don't even notice that Ezra had Force-Jumped right out of the Phantom and had just landed on the ground! Ezra then grabs the Stormtrooper that isn't holding Kanan captive, protecting his friend from being hit!
Ezra: Buckethead... Never, ever threaten him! (Knocks the first Stormtrooper into the other, knocking them both Unconscious and freeing Kanan in the process just Sabine and Zeb show up!) And stay down!
Ezra turns to Kanan and helps him up to his feet, before looking to see if his friend is hurt!
Ezra: Kanan! Is everything okay?! Are you hurt?!
Kanan rubs his arms a little bit as Ezra pulled him up to his feet!
Kanan: No, I'm okay... Just a few bruises! But, where in the world of the Rebellion did you learn to fight like that?!
Ezra: Oh! My Adoptive older sister taught me!
Kanan: Maybe you could teach me someday!
They notice that Zeb is trying to open the door, but isn't having much luck as he and Sabine were arguing!
Zeb: (Groans) Can't they just label the open button?! I can't believe that I'm gonna say this, I wish Chopper were here!
Sabine: Would you like me to open it?!
Zeb: I would as a matter of fact!
As Kanan sighs in frustration, Ezra goes over to them before he shoves Zeb out of the way so that he can open the door!
Ezra: Oh, for the love of... Get out of my way!
Ezra puts down his Yellow Backpack and takes out a lockpicking padlock and puts it on the door. Using the Force very carefully, the padlock opens the door!
Ezra: Yes! We're in! Shall we?
As Ezra puts the padlock back in his backpack and puts it back on, Kanan immediately runs to catch up with Ezra, not paying attention to Zeb!
Kanan: Hold the phone!
Zeb: Oaf!
Kanan: Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa! Wait a minute! How do you learn to do that?!
Ezra: Oh, it's an easy trick. I learned it the first week that I was on the streets with Eldra and Kaitis! Zeb, have you found out which cell they're keeping Luminara in?
Zeb: Yeah, it's Detention block see-see zero-one. Isolation cell zero-one-six-nine!
Sabine just rolled her eyes, knowing that is bad news for them!
Sabine: Well, that's not good, we only planned for outdated schematics! So, what's the plan now?
Ezra made up his mind and took charge, time for a change of plans!
Ezra: Sabine, you and Zeb take that hallway! Kanan, you and I will take the other hallway! Since the plan has changed, we'll have to use the turbo-lift as our escape route now! Hera, did you get all of that?
Hera had heard everything and smiled at Ezra's leadership!
Hera: Roger that, kid! And Ezra? Take care of Kanan!
Ezra smirked at his Master, knowing that someone here has to!
Ezra: Somebody here has to!
Sabine: Good luck you two!
Ezra: Luck?
Kanan: In our experience, there's no such thing!
Both: (Laughing)
As the four Rebels split up, Ezra could still hear their arguing over the comlink!
Zeb: (Groans) Their changing of plans are getting worse all the time!
Sabine: Look on the bright side Zeb, the both of them probably won't change the plan again!
Ezra: I'm standing right here with my comlink still on, you know! I can still hear every word that you two are saying!
Both: We know!
Ezra rolled his eyes before Kanan placed a comforting hand on Ezra's shoulder, attempting to get his Student's mind off Zeb's and Sabine's annoyance over the plans being changed!
Kanan: Don't listen to them, kid! Since when do our plans ever go right?
Ezra smiled but frowned a little bit, he wasn't his friend's annoyance over their change of plans that he was worried about! It was... Something else...
Ezra: Trust me, Kanan. It's not you or the others... That I'm worried about!
The both of them just looked at the sky before going in, still having an uneasy feeling inside about the Empire's interests for the both of them!
