Ezra is shocked to the core and starts to feel a little bit dizzy, just as Kanan and Eldra help him back up to his feet before he collapses on the floor!
Eldra: Take it easy, bro!
Kanan: Hold on...
Ezra: I... I think I need to sit down!
The both of them help Ezra to sit down as begins to tell Sabine what Tseebo had told her earlier after she and Hera found him in Ezra's old abandoned house...
Sabine: Do you remember the magical Force memory book that you, me, and Zeb found a few days ago?
Ezra nods, allowing Sabine to continue.
Sabine: Well, both your adoptive Mother and my Mother told me that Ahsoka and Commander Rex were returning a Sith Lord to the Jedi Council on the day that you were born when she felt Anakin's terrible pain and suffering and then... The Force Bond between her and your Birth Father snapped before it was completely broken!
Tseebo: Tseebo is sorry, Ezra Skywalker and Eldra Bridger. Tseebo could not protect the Bridgers from Kaitis and the Empire!
Ezra felt tears pour out from his Sapphire eyes, afraid that Kaitis might have been right about Anakin betraying his family. Kanan helps his student into his arms, before the kid and Eldra turned to Tseebo, no hate nor any resentment in their eyes!
Eldra: It's not your fault, Tseebo...
Ezra: Nobody knew what he was planning, especially me! Hera I want you and my sister to take Tseebo to Fulcrum so that she can take him someplace safe to hide from Kaitis and the Empire! Kanan, you and I will take the Phantom and lead the Grand Inquisitor and Kaitis away to Fort Anaxes!
Eldra doesn't seem to like that idea, knowing that the abandoned Clone Wars Base is a death trap!
Eldra: The one that's been abandoned since the Clone Wars? Are you crazy?!
Ezra shakes his head at her, knowing that they don't really have much of a choice!
Ezra: Does anyone ever say yes to that question? Besides, as long as both me and Kanan are on the Ship, Tseebo's life is at risk!
Kanan shrugs at her, knowing that his student makes a good point!
Kanan: Uh, he's right... We'll be fine, Eldra! And don't worry kid, I'll be right behind you!
Ezra smiles a little bit, knowing that makes him feel a little bit better! Later that evening. Sabine talked with Ezra about his family problems...
Sabine: I'm sorry about your adoptive parents...
Ezra held his Secret Family Locket, confused which path of this war he belongs on now!
Ezra: Me too! Well, Sabine... It looks like my biggest fears came true, I wouldn't be surprised if Kanan decides to give up on me entirely after today!
Sabine just sighs, knowing that Ezra isn't to blame for being cast out of her home as a traitor by her own family!
Sabine: (Sighs) It's not your fault, I'm the one who said that Tseebo wanted to talk to you!
Ezra places a comforting hand Sabine's shoulder, knowing that she isn't to blame either... Little did the two of them know that Kanan was listening to every word that the two were saying. Kanan's eyes soften at Ezra's story and what his student says next...
Ezra: It's not Tseebo's fault, Sabine! Or your's or Kanan's... I'm the one that Kaitis didn't want in his life just because I was born on Empire Day, the day that he lost everything! He even wished that I wasn't even born the last time that I last him when he left me for dead...
Sabine: Wha-? How can you say that?! Both me and Kanan don't remember him ever saying that he wishes that you were never born, kid...
Ezra: Believe me, he didn't have to say it! Sabine... (Sighs) I've been on my own since I was 10, okay?! If I'd let myself believe that my real family was alive... If I'd let myself believe that they come back and save me... I'd never have learned how to survive!
Sabine smiles before giving Ezra a comforting hug...
Sabine: Well... Kanan obviously thinks that you're worth being friends with, and I do too!
Ezra smiles, glad that both she and Kanan are willing to the past behind them so that they could help him deal with his inner demons!
Ezra: Well thanks, Sabine... At least I have two friends, even if one of them is a Mandalorian!
Ezra winks at her, causing both him and Sabine to laugh a little. Suddenly, Kanan opens the door, causing Ezra to shriek back in shock!
Kanan: You ready to go?
Ezra looks back at Sabine, who smiles knowing that she and Hera will take care of Tseebo for him as much as Fulcrum will!
Ezra: Yeah, give me a minute, Kanan... I-I'll be right there!
Kanan: Okay...
Kanan places a comforting hand on Ezra's shoulder, before leaving... Ezra turns to follow him but looks back at Tseebo. Knowing that this might be the last time he would ever see his adoptive Uncle-Figure, Ezra sighs sadly before hugging Tseebo! The Rodian is shocked but hugs the young boy back before whispering...
Tseebo: Tseebo will see Ezra Skywalker again?
Ezra: We will see each other again... I promise...
Ezra smiles, before leaving Sabine alone with Tseebo... In the Phantom, Ezra sits down as Kanan starts up the Ship! Hera knows that it is pointless to try and talk either of them out this!
Hera: Just be careful out there, love... And Ezra? Please take care of Kanan!
Ezra simply smirks, knowing that someone has to be there to save his skin!
Ezra: Somebody has to!
As the Phantom takes off into Hyperspace, Sabine places a comforting hand on both Tseebo and Eldra...
Tseebo: Eldra Bridger, we have to trust Ezra Skywalker!
Sabine: What is it?
Eldra: I just hope that Ezra... He knows what he's doing!
Eldra sighs, knowing that Ezra will be fine as long as Kanan is with him!
