I slipped into the quiet little bank, the noisy street fading to a faint buzz as the door closed behind me. It smelt like glass cleaner and lemons. Must have been cleaned recently. The clank of my boots echoed off the gleaming walls and floors, the teller behind the counter smiling as she looked up at me.

"Hi, what can I do for you to-" Her smiling face slowly morphed into a look of terror as I held up my pointer finger, the muzzle of a pistol screwed onto the tip.

I grinned, "This is a stick em up."

The lone teller slowly lifted her shaking hands, flinching as I took a step forward. I had done my research before choosing which bank to rob. This one was a small one, off on a side street that had two people working at most. It would be a while before the heroes would get here and I know that there won't be any people coming in to do business.

"Ya know, I've always wanted to say that." I laughed as I made my way behind the counter, my finger gun still trained on the teller, "It's always been a dream of mine. Say, where's all the money at?" I looked at her with a quirked eyebrow, gesturing for her to start moving.

She let out a squeak and I could see sweat running down her face. She slowly lowered one of her hands and I looked to see where it was heading. It seemed she was going to try to press a big, red button. I shot a bullet into the wood counter, into the space next to the button which caused the wood to splinter. The report rang out into the empty bank.

I shook my head, "I wouldn't try that sweetheart. Now tell me, where's the money?" I was running out of time to get this done and in and out in a clean manner.

The teller, who's name was Rika according to her name tag, let out a shuttering breath, "H-how much?"

"As much as you can get me."

She slowly turned, trembling as her fingers flew over the keyboard of the computer on the counter. My finger gun pressed into her side, reminding her that I meant business. A tear slowly ran down her cheek as she pressed enter and a buzz was heard as a machine started up next to the computer.

Money started coming out of it and Rika slowly put it in envelopes with her still shaky hands. "Fif-fifteen thousand is the highest amount you can get."

I tried to mask my surprise. I was expecting fifteen hundred, not fifteen thousand. Hot damn.

She slid three full envelopes to me and I gestured with my free hand to the top one. "Get out a thousand. Quickly." I pressed my finger gun harder into her side, making her go quicker.

She let out a sob as she clutched the thousand in her hand.

"Keep that for yourself. Sorry that I had to do this to you." I snatched the envelopes and backed up, my gun still trained on her as I made my way to the door.

"Have a lovely day." I gave her a wink as I slipped out the door, stuffing the envelopes into my jacket before unscrewing the muzzle off of my finger.

I soon heard alarms sounding from that building and I smirked, knowing that I would be long gone before any heroes arrived.
