I always thought the term allonormativity was applied to both sexual and romantic attraction. Like it meant: the assumption that everyone feels romantic and sexual attraction.
But it turns out the assumption that everyone has romantic attraction has its own word!
It's amatonormativity.
I thinks it's cool they have separate words because even though I am both aro and ace they feel like two separate identities. It feels more like I'm aro and ace than aroace so it's cool there's two separate words for this.
Anyways, screw allonormativity and amatonormativity
