So I was on TikTok and I saw this video (I don't even think it was posted by an a-spec person) but it was like "my Roman Empire is how when people get into a relationship they immediately put them over their best friend" (Roman empire if you don't know is just something you think about a lot.)
And a little something about me, I don't repost tiktoks that often. I don't need everyone and all my friends and people I know irl knowing what I relate to or what's on my fyp unless it's like a very general non deep and personal TikTok then I might repost. But this I was like no I'm reposting this I don't care what people think I am sharing this because I feel it on such a deep level, it's my Roman Empire too. Like literally.
And I should have just liked and favorited and reposted the video and moved on but I checked out the comments and most of them were agreeing I think. At least from what I read. But some of them were like "well you wouldn't understand if you're not the one in a relationship"
Like hell yeah I wouldn't understand cause even if I was in a relationship (which is like never gonna happen anyways) they wouldn't automatically be put above my best friend or take the title of my best friend I can have more than one best friend.
So yeah. It's just your typical thing of people not understanding the value of platonic friendships and such. But I'm glad the creator of the video gets it. And so overall I'm happy I was happy to see that video on my fyp.

UPDATE: so I am not gonna read anymore comments I was just bored but... I swear I really really hope this person doesn't have kids. They said "once marriage kicks in it's your partner over everyone else. Even your mom, your kids." What!??
Over your kids!??? Your main priority should be your kids, like...what!!
And I'm not even gonna touch on the mom thing.
So um. That's that. I really hope that person doesn't have kids because I'm scared.
