So my sister was asking me one day who my crush was and I was like "I don't have one" (for reference I was in 8th grade and I'm pretty sure I knew I wasn't so into dating/romance/things like that but I still didn't know I was aroace and I don't even think I quite had this term yet I think I learned the word asexual at like the very end of 8th grade like around Covid times)
anyways she kept asking who my crush was insisting that I had to have one and I was so annoyed I lied and said this dude who was on the cross country team (in middle school the boys and girl's practiced together, we raced separately at meets tho) and like sure objectively I thought he was asetcially good looking but this dude wasn't very nice so he wasn't like attractive to me.
I did not like him at all but I was like if I tell my sister I like him and show her a picture she won't judge me for liking someone "ugly"
But I think she judged me anyways and said he had a weird name and i don't remember if she called him ugly or not.
Anyways that's the first crush I actually knew I made up, my other crushes I'm pretty sure I made them up but just didn't know it at the time. but it's confusing. But anyways that's all thanks for reading and I hope you have an amazing day/night 💚💜
