Best Friends

Couldn't find a lyric video for this :/
But anyways there's this song and if you are looking for songs that aren't about romance this one is about friendship.

I'm not gonna talk about like most of the lyrics like I normally do, just one because it's like my favorite.

"We still don't know anything but you were my everything" like my best friends are my everything 🥹

And now I like feel super dumb, this. This is how I know I'm aromantic because I totally missed this. Guys, I think it is a love song 😭
"Now we have 2 kids going on seven years strong" I thought it meant two kids each, like they each have different spouses and kids. But no. They have two kids together.
And in the beginning "make out in a mini van" I just completely missed that one.

I feel so dumb but also so like validated because like what allo person would miss that?

But you know I said last time music is how you interpret it so you know to me this is a best friends song.

And I also feel so embarrassed and like dumb too because I sent this song to my friend the other day before I just now realized he wrote it about his wife and I'm like "I found this song the other day" and my thought was it's so us and she didn't respond. I kinda sabotaged myself there though. This is how the text went down.

Me: "Hi good morning how are you? I found this song the other day. *link to the song on Spotify*

Me a while later: *paragraph about my stories and how I'm having a crisis and need her help

Her a while later: morning lol *(it's evening now lol) *gives me advice on the crisis and says nothing about the song*

So not only was I like feeling dumb bc she didn't say anything about the song but now I'm realizing there was in fact romance in the song that my aroaceness turned a blind eye to.

See that's like what I wish I could do about everything. Like when I see something for the first time my aroaceness only picks up on the romance if it's very obvious very predictable aka it follows the formula all shows follow. But then when other people are like so pushy with it or I feel like it's too much my aroaceness can only focus on how annoying the romance is instead of the other things that made me love the show. (This 100% definitely isn't no way isn't about Jatp, that would be crazy lol I don't even think about that show even more...*today was 2 years ago since it was canceled...*)
