Celebrity Crushes

Okay so I get that people have celebrity crushes and I've learned that means it's a celeb they wanna date/they fantasize doing you know what with and like.... I kinda get dating I mean I still don't get it but why...why does everything have to be sexual?

Like, and I don't even know where to begin with this,  but like...I just don't get why people are like "I love this celebrity I wanna date/kiss/you know what with them because they're attractive" like why can't you like an actor because they're good at acting, you love their character, you love their personality and you love them as like a role model or like you just think they're great why do you have to me like "I wanna date them" or "I wanna have you know what with them"

Like maybe it's a just because I'm sex replused and I don't get why anyone fantasizes having it with somebody they don't know, but like with celebrities I feel like it in away is a breach of boundaries.

And I don't know it just kinda disturbs me when people talk about wanting to have you know what with their favorite celebrity like...why?

This account on instagram messaged me and it was going normal at first, and then she tells me she's dating this actor from the show we're talking about. And I thought she was joking at first so I was like "haha your so lucky" just playing along but she kept going on about how he asked her friend if she'd date him and how he had a crush on her since 2018 but she didn't even know him until 2021 and she became a fan of his and I was like starting to get weirded out.

She kept saying no one believes her and calls her a liar and like bullies her and you know people shouldn't have bullied her, but I also get why they don't believe her especially since she said she's never met this actor.

So then she adds me to this group chat I didn't even want to be added to because I'm getting a little disturbed and there's other fan accounts j know in there so I'm like there's no way she's actually dating him.

And there's not. The "text messages" she sent in the chat between the two of them aren't even real they were written on the notes app.

And I 10000% regret scrolling up to read the chat because...ew 😭
Like I just don't understand why fans have sexual fantasies with celebrities and then to top it off they act these out and they pretend they are real and it's like, I don't wanna offend anyone like if it's a way to coupe or something but like....just why?
Like she said this actor said all these horny and sexual things and it's like...it's just weird to me and I don't get it.

I felt so vile reading what she sent and I wasn't even imagining it. I didn't even read all of it, I stopped right away as soon as I realized it was sexual, I couldn't read all of it not only because I am too sex repulse but I feel like it's just a violation of privacy.

I don't know. I'm just, confused at the most. Genuinely why do people wanna have sex with celebrities that don't even know them and not feel gross or vile when they imagine sexual things about them?

I don't know I guess I just can't comprehend it. I guess they could argue it's no different than imagining being best friends with them but I feel like that is different because I'm imagining being best friends with a fictional character or meeting my favorite actor/singer for the first time, I'm not imagining them having s3x with me I feel like that's a violation of their privacy and I don't wanna have s3x anyways.
