Happy rant so not a rant but idk what else to call it

Eeee so like a week or so ago the Jatp went a con and I keep seeing videos from it and I mostly watch the videos for Jeremy bc I love him in all thing he does and it was a comic con so he was there not only for Jatp but all his other shows too like adventure time. In fact the only reason I'm even seeing these videos is because they come up on the Jeremy Shada hashtag which I'm following and anything that comes up on the hastag that's not him I scroll past/hit not interested right anyways

So the video was cut off so I don't know exactly what the question was but based off the answers it was something like "who does your character end up with/where do they end up/what's their ending or future" something like that bc Madison's answer (who plays Julie) said it would be Luke (actually Owen was the one saying how each character ended up which I just thought was funny) and I love how they all just agreed Reggie's character would release his country album 🥹

Like they didn't mention a love interest or anything, and based on season 1 it was something Reggie actually expressed wanting. He wrote a country song called home is where my horse is (and Jeremy put it on YouTube 🥹❤️) and said they should release a country album that does surpassingly well (litteraly what he said and it would do well bc I would listen to it all the time) because he shreds on the banjo (his words and I would love to hear him play the banjo omhygosh I love him)

Like.

Omg. It just makes me so happy they just didn't say "oh he met someone and fell in love" bc like that would just be generic and boring, and it just like gives me that aromantic/aroace validation that not everything has to end with a romantic happily ever after.

Also side note also I learned from this video clip there was another country song Reggie wrote called brother from and other mother. 🥺🥺🥺❤️❤️ LIKE OMGGGGGGG I am like Aw Ohmygoshness.

But yeah. I just love how they didn't just go "oh well he'd just find a ghost girl and fall in love" like they said something actually meaningful to his character and unique and like I just it means the absolute world to me.

Like Kenny please just confirm Reggie's a-spec. Please. For my soul. Even if Jeremy does it himself unofficially that'll sell me. If I ever meet him I'll be too embarrassed to ask tho honestly 😭
If I do meet Jeremy (I really hope I do someday. He's my favorite singer/actor/everything.) depending on who I go with I'll ask who I go with to ask him for me probably 😭

No but seriously like... the fans always just like like kinda have that attitude of "oh like I guess he'll just end up falling in love with someone bc like who doesn't" like a lazy attitude about it or like they just expect it "like oh of course he'll fall in love everyone needs a love interest" or something and the country album thing was so much more meaningful in my opinion like again I didn't see the full clip so I don't have full context but it still just makes me so happy.

Like I wanna talk to someone about this but like who bc I only have two friends who have seen and liked Jatp and don't seem to mind me obsessing over it but also like they've kinda moved on and one of them hasn't responded in a few days so she's probably busy and I already flooded her inbox with other texts and the other is kinda a romantic and sometime she leaves me on open so it's like eh who can I tell? But I'm excited about it and it's feeding into my Reggie is a-spec head canon and like it's my everything.

I need more of this Reggie releasing his country music content. Does Julie play the fiddle on this album? (If you haven't seen the show, when Reggie says he shreds on the banjo Julie says "then I'll learn how to fiddle" and I think it'd be so cute for them to do a country song together)

I'm sorry I could go on and on and on about this and Reggie he's the light of my life and I feel like he's so overlooked in the fandom when he gets any sort of attention that's not his lack of love interest (bc I'd argue his "love interest" is his friends, Ray and Carlos. Love interests don't always have to be romantic and that's actually a point I'm gonna try and make in my book no regrets anyways...I don't think Reggie lacks a love interest I think he just doesn't have a romantic one and it's only sad if one he wants a romantic love interest and two with the whole idea people put romance first, no one puts him first. But I'd put him first and I don't love him romantically) ANYWAYS anytime he gets any sort of attention that's not his lack of romantic love interest I'm like super happy
