Why is it in shows when a boy and a girl or a man and a woman start becoming friends, all of the sudden now they're in love.
I started watching this show and these two characters had this friendship vibe. Friends that make fun of each other but love each other in a cute little platonic way.
And then they make them do the thing or they kiss or everyone around them tells them they're in love.
This is why I hate fictional romance. It's over done and forced at times. There really wasn't a reason to make these two characters fall in love, their friendship was top tier and superior. Not every show needs romance, not every main character needs a love interest, and why can't a girl and a guy be great friends, why are shows always make them falling them in love when it doesn't math the vibe they already set?
I don't know. I just can never get around fictional romance because they always say things like this so obvious and it's not that obvious. Just because you talk about someone a lot doesn't mean you're in love with them, sure it means you like them but that's doesn't mean you like them like that.
I don't really know how else to word it. I guess I wish there was like a shot out there with like no romance maybe an aro character or two, I don't know but like I just wanna watch a show without feeling like my brain is being spun around trying to understand why everyone is obsessed with fictional romance and writers are obsessed with just throwing it in their shows.
I might write a story on here about a gay guy and an aroace girl who are best friends, everyone thinks they're in love but obviously they're not. That's all I got right now but maybe I'll throw in some fantasy or thriller stuff I'm not sure yet.
Anyways I guess that's all so I hope you have an amazing day or night 💚💜🫶🏻
