Me and Elaine have arrived at Saffron City. After hearing about Team Rocket taking over the entire city, it was an threat we had to stop.
Cameron: Here we are. The main area of the siege... Silph Co.
The entire building was stories high, and it would take forever to get rid of these guys. It was worth it, though!
Once we got inside, we met up with Trace, who was talking with Blue.
Trace: Cameron!
Cameron: Trace! Glad to see you!
Blue: Don't forget about me, tough guy!
Cameron: You two heard about the siege as well, right?
Blue: Yep! We heard they were after some prototype Poké Ball that can catch any Pokémon without fail.
Cameron: I've heard of it!
Elaine: If they get that prototype, who knows what they can do with it?
Cameron: ...We need to stop them.
Blue: Before that...I need to test you.
Cameron: Test?
Blue: It won't take long. Your four Pokémon against my one. You win, and you and your friends are on your way.
Blue sent out his Charizard!
I sent out Wartortle!
Cameron: Use Waterfall!
Wartortle lunged forward in a water veil!
Blue: Charizard, Dragon Claw!
Charizard created dragon's claws and slashed Wartortle, failing the attack!
Wartortle growled at Charizard as its opponent did the same.
Blue: Flare Blitz!
Charizard charged at Wartortle with a fiery tackle!
Cameron: Waterfall!
Wartortle charged at Charizard with Waterfall!
Both Pokémon pushed at one another in a powerful struggle!
Wartortle was ready for more!
Blue: Use Flamethrower!
As the attack came, Wartortle enveloped itself in a bright light, countering the attack with a newly learned Hydro Pump, using two large cannons! Wartortle evolved into Blastoise!
Cameron: You evolved!
Blastoise gave a thumbs-up.
Cameron: Alright, then! Hydro Pump!
Blastoise fired a torrent of water from its cannons, overwhelming Blue's Charizard!
Blue returned his defeated Pokémon to its Ball.
Blue: You did good. Congrats on your Blastoise!
Cameron: Thank you!
Blue turned to leave as Elaine and Trace went upstairs. I followed them.
It's time to free the city from Team Rocket!!
