After all the turmoil at Mt. Chimney, we needed a break. Luckily, Lavaridge Town has a hot spring! While May and Wally relaxed in the spring, me and Brendan went to the Jagged Pass to train.
Brendan cataloged every Pokémon that attacked us, while I battled them. About a Spoink and three Torkoal attacked.
After we got back, we found that May has an egg, and her Skitty was a Delcatty as well!
After settling into the hot springs, we heard of a tutor for Fire-type Pokémon. May and I headed there and trained our Pokémon. After difficult training, May's Blaziken learned Brave Bird and High Jump Kick, while my Numel evolved into Camerupt and learned Rock Slide!
After we got into the Pokémon Center for the night, Steven offered me last-minute training before I faced Lavaridge's Gym Leader. While May, Brendan and Wally slept in our room, Steven and I did practice battles until late at night.
I hope all that training got me ready.
