Cameron: Pikachu, let's go!
Pikachu was the first in me and Lance's two-on-two match.
Lance: Use Rock Slide!
Aerodactyl started a rock slide as it rolled toward Pikachu!
Cameron: Jump onto the rocks!
Pikachu jumped from rock after rock after rock! When it reached Aerodactyl...
Cameron: Use Iron Tail!
Pikachu was going to slam down on Aerodactyl with Iron Tail!
Lance: Clash with it using Wing Attack!
Aerodactyl blocked the Iron Tail with Wing Attack!
Cameron: Use Thunderbolt!
Pikachu used Thunderbolt, zapping Aerodactyl on contact!
The damage caused an explosion!
Pikachu landed on its feet!
Aerodactyl emerged midair from the explosion!
Cameron: Use Thunder!
Pikachu fired a Thunder!
Lance: Use Hyper Beam!
Aerodactyl fired a Hyper Beam!
Both moves were a direct hit, though Aerodactyl was paralyzed upon the attack!
Cameron: Now's your chance, Pikachu!
Use Iron Tail!
Pikachu prepares to finish off Aerodactyl with Iron Tail!
Lance: Use Iron Head!
Aerodactyl hardens its head to stave off the damage from Iron Tail!
Lance: Use Crunch!
Aerodactyl bites Pikachu, nearly defeating her!
Cameron: Use Thunderbolt!
Pikachu uses the last of its strength to use Thunderbolt, defeating Aerodactyl as well as herself!
I picked up Pikachu and congratulated her for her effort. Lance also returned his Aerodactyl.
Cameron: I've been training for this. No way am I going to lose this!
Lance: Don't be all talk. If you can, being modest can do wonders for you.
Cameron: Okay, okay...I'm just excited for this rematch.
Lance nodded in agreement as we readied our last Pokémon. Dragonite vs. Dragonite!
Cameron: Let's do this! Dragonite, get airborne!
Dragonite took to the air!
Lance: You too, Dragonite!
Lance's Dragonite took off as well!
Cameron: Use Dragon Rush!
Dragonite charged forward with Dragon Rush!
Lance: Use Giga Impact!
Lance's Dragonite charged forward as well!
The rest of the battle was completely in the air. Both Dragonite relentlessly gave their all, trying to take each other down to win the match!
After a head-on impact (literally!), both Dragonite crashed onto the ground!
Cameron: Are you able to keep going?
Dragonite got on its feet and gave a thumbs-up!
Lance's Dragonite was still going as well!
Cameron: Come on, Dragonite! Use Dragon Claw!
Dragonite went in for a Dragon Claw!
Lance: Dragonite, use Thunder Punch!
Both Dragonite scored a direct hit, completely fatiguing them.
We waited...and waited...and waited.
My Dragonite got up first.
I won the Pokémon League!!
Everyone cheered at the sight of my victory.
I went to the podium and received my trophy. After the ceremony, Lance came to speak to me.
Lance: You did great. Who knew you were tough enough to beat a member of Kanto's Elite Four. Congrats, Cameron! You are truly a Pokémon Master!
I was touched by his words of appreciation...
Cameron: Thank you, Lance.
