Cameron: It has been a while since I battled another Trainer, so I accept!
We all went to the biggest area in the city to do battle.
May: Six-on-six. We use our best!
Cameron: You're on.
And so, May and I sent out our first Pokémon: Camerupt and Wobbuffet!
May: Don't forget: Wobbuffet's Shadow Tag won't let you escape.
Cameron: We work around this! Camerupt, use Rock Slide!
Camerupt launched a Rock Slide!
May: Wobbuffet, Counter!
Wobbuffet quickly reacted to the oncoming attack and shot it back at double damage with Counter!
Cameron: Use Earthquake!
Camerupt induced a massive tremor!
May: Wobbuffet, use Safeguard below you!
Wobbuffet guarded itself against Earthquake by activating Safeguard below its feet.
Cameron: Flamethrower!
Camerupt blasted its Flamethrower!
May: Wobbuffet, Mirror Coat!
Wobbuffet once countered the attack back with Mirror Coat!
After a heavy exchange of attacks, both Pokémon were at the verge of collapsing!
Cameron: We can't let Wobbuffet counter again! Use Lava Plume!
Camerupt instead blasted a powerful explosion similar to a volcanic boom! Camerupt learned Eruption!
May: Here it comes! Use Destiny Bond!
Wobbuffet sent a spectral arrow toward Camerupt, binding its fate with Wobbuffet's. When the Eruption hit, both Pokémon simultaneously fell!
Cameron: Wow! You are good! Good job, Camerupt.
May: Same here, Wobbuffet!
We sent our next Pokémon out: Gardevoir and Delcatty!
May: Delcatty, Giga Impact!
Delcatty charged toward Gardevoir at blazing speed!
Cameron: Stop it with Psychic!
Gardevoir stopped Delcatty in its tracks with Psychic!
Cameron: Now, transfer Psychic to your palms and get slamming!
Gardevoir slammed Delcatty over and over, increasing its power with each hit!
When Gardevoir pushed Delcatty back...
May: Use Iron Tail!
Delcatty scored a super-effective hit with Iron Tail!
Cameron: Use Moonblast!
Gardevoir fired a Moonblast, scoring a direct hit on Delcatty!
Cameron: Gardevoir, Future Sight!
Gardevoir sent Future Sight and stood diligently!
Delcatty waited along with Gardevoir and stared her down.
