Docking on Land

Sometimes when the Octonauts are in need of supplies, they'll dock on land for a while to get it.

It's usually to get things like food, bandages, other medical supplies, replacements for things they broke, mail from family and friends, new tools, spare parts, etc.

Whenever they need anything delivered to the kitchen, the Octonauts will move it themselves cos the last time someone else did it, the Vegimals spent 2 hours playing with them. They had no idea on how to keep them out, so the 2 younger kids suggested a "Warning: Untrained Children- Do Not Enter" sign that people on land use for puppies and kittens who aren't well-trained, but whenever they tried to teach the Vegimals to bark and hiss threateningly... 

It's the Vegimals, so whenever they attempted it, they immediately apologized and gave the kids a hug cos the cuties thought they scared the kids.

Kwazii is permanently banned from a certain beach on Hawaii for the "Volcano False Alarm Incident" where Shellington told Kwazii there was a volcano on the island they were on, and Kwazii felt the need to scream that information out to everyone on that beach with a tiny added footnote of "it's gonna explode" and may or may not have caused a small panic.

When they dock on shore, Dashi, Peso, and Inkling "totally" aren't in a rush to get the kids out of the Octopod for fresh air and so the kids will leave them alone for more than 5 minutes. "Totally" not. They love the kids, but the kids can be a handful.

This ended up not working in their favor when Tweak convinced them to let some spiders onto the Octopod for... obvious reasons...

The Captain and Peso always go out wearing coolant suits so they don't overheat, but the Captain still needs to figure out the culprit who made his look like tourist clothing.

The Captain will take one of his crew members and kids, and EACH individual Vegimal out for a walk with him, and he'll hold onto your paw so you won't get lost, you don't have a choice on whether you want to or not.

Peso's so curious about everything in big cities since he's never seen one before, so Dashi once took him out to one, and he hid behind her for half the trip and they hugged each other for the other half cos Peso was a little frightened of the big city.
