The Boyfriend/Girlfriend Rule

Everyone on the Octopod hasn't taken too kindly to their adopted family members of the opposite sex having a significant other or even a friend of their own species, same age group, and of their opposite sex.

If either Kwazii or Pinto detect any males of their "sisters" that are A. within their age groups and B. of the same species within 50 feet of their girls, then they'll immediately go charging and yell at the other dude to step away from their "sister".

The first time Tweak brought one of her male friends home, the first welcome that the poor guy got from his friend's new family was a screaming orange cat charging him, jumping onto him and yelling at him"How do ye know Tweak, matey?!"

After Tweak pulled Kwazii off, whacked him on the head, yelled at him and apologized to her friend, her friend just laughed it off and told her it was an interesting first impression and he was glad she had someone who cared for her so much.

When Dashi first brought her father's younger brother to the Octopod to introduce to the Captain, Kwazii did the same with him, but this dude was pretty experienced in street fights and wiped the floor with Kwazii. Tweak covered Dashi's eyes so her sweet, innocent bestie wouldn't see the carnage and then gave the guy a round of applause for not taking Kwazii's crap. Kwazii was actually quite impressed and they got along fine (with a few embarrassing baby stories of the girls thrown in)

When Koshi first brought her boyfriend on the Octopod, Squirt was the only one of the boys who was "normal" with him other then the Vegimals but they love and try to smother everyone in
