Whenever anyone on the Octopod is sad, then their "family" will find time in their day to just have a time to cuddle them and let them feel at least a little better.
No matter how busy the Captain is, he still tries to make time for his crew, and whenever his crew needs a hug, he'll simply wrap him in his big fluffy arms and cuddle his "baby" until they smile again.
On movie nights, the Captain will sometimes be used as a pillow cos he's so big and fluffy. Does he care? No. He's flattered at the thought that his "child" loves him so much and will stroke their heads during the whole movie.
Peso sits in his lap during movies at time because it makes cuddling his "sweet little boy" much more convenient.
Peso loves cuddling his baby brother whenever he gets the chance. There are nights where Peso will let Pinto into his bed, and he'll cuddle his baby brother in bed for the whole night.
Any sort of girls' night between Dashi and Tweak usually ends with both of them cuddling each other under a blanket, absolutely exhausted and not wanting to move, so they just have a sleepover in whoever's room they're in.
Although both Kwazii and Tweak deny being afraid of this one ghost from a horror movie. They'll never show it to anyone else on the Octopod because they refuse to ruin their family's innocence to the movie, and cos every single time they watch that movie, they'll always end up hugging each other out of fright.
The baby Vegimals will take any opportunity they can to snuggle with "Shellydo" and give him infinite cuddles and kisses. Shellington usually loves it, and scoops up as many of the cuties as he can and just holds them close cos he loves his babies so much.
Jane's afraid of thunderstorms at times if the thunder is too loud, so every single time there's a thunderstorm, Koshi will let Jane sleep with her for a night, and will always cover her baby sister's ears if the thunder is too loud.
Squirt thinks he's too old for cuddles from his uncle, but whenever Squirt's sick, Inkling usually cradles his nephew in his arms and giving him little tentacle rubs the whole time.
