A/N- Happy Pride Month!

Hehehe. No one ever said all the Octonauts were straight. In fact, not a lot of them are. Inkling's straight (a straight ally though), and that's about it.

A lot of them aren't anything. Peso's too innocent and sweet to date, and the Vegimals are just sweet little babies.

The Captain's too busy being "daddy" to all his babies to even care that he's muscular enough, and the Captain's uniform makes him a point of interest for a lot of creatures, male, female, anyone.

He'd rather spend his time taking care of all his babies than looking for a mate.

Kwazii, Shellington, and Dashi have a Pan Club that meets once a week because all three of them are Pansexual (Attracted to anyone of any gender identity). Dashi had a little crush on Ryla when she was around 15-16, but it wasn't ever anything too big. She just thought Ryla was really pretty and that was it.

Kwazii. Who knows what he was doing "during his pirate days", and he's told them stories on some of his... romantic involvements and the stories were interesting to say the least.

Shellington has had a lot of crushes, but he's never acted on any of them out of shyness.

Tweak identifies as aroace and gender-nonconforming demi-girl.  She's not interested in anyone romantically, and she's a kind-of girl. She only partially identifies as female.

The kids... oh goodness

When they grew up, obviously, none of them were straight.

Koshi is demiromantic (only develops romantic feelings for people she's close to) I don't know why, I just have a feeling.

Squirt is "heteroflexible" He identified as heterosexual, but can sometimes be attracted to people of the same gender as him. He's also a demi-boy, meaning that he only partially identifies as a boy.

Jane is "sapphic" and "agender". which means that when she grew up, she decided she didn't want to be a boy or a girl, she just wanted to be nothing and that she liked girls.

Pinto is bisexual with a preference for women, but he has had crushes on boys before. He had a rather intense crush on the person playing Lafayette in Hamilton as a teenager.

Coming out isn't easy, but everyone on the Octopod tries to help as much as they can.

When you first tell everyone, the Captain will first give you a big hug, and they'll you that he'll always support you no matter what, and that he'll always be there for you. Peso will hug next and give you a sticker for "being so brave" soon everyone will give you hugs and little bits of reassurances that they love you.

Bonus of coming out: the Captain gives you some extra "daddy time" at night.

The baby Vegimals are too innocent to understand the concept of romantic and sexual relationships, but they'll still hug you and give you kisses and fish biscuits cos they don't need a reason to start loving you, the cuties just want to.
