The Kids' Relationships With Each Other

The kids all love each other, but they all hate each other so much at times.

All four of them love to spend time with each other, and they'll be sitting in one of their rooms (most likely Squirt's cos he has his own room) doing homework, talking with each other, singing whatever songs come to their minds, and basically enjoying each other's company.

They do fight a lot too. A LOT. Every hour or so, two of them are fighting with each other about whatever the heck they fight about. It's usually between Koshi and Jane about whatever new method of torture Jane came up for her older sister, and Pinto and Squirt about whether or not Pinto should stop following Squirt around or whether or not Squirt is a goody two-shoes.

It's a common consensus among the kids "I don't like you, but I have to tolerate you since a murder on the Octopod wouldn't exactly be a good thing."

But they still love each other more than life, and if any of them were sad, the others would do anything to cheer them up such as persuading the Vegimals to get them some of their favorite treats and having a sleepover with them so they wouldn't have to be sad and alone.

Koshi and Squirt will spend hours together reading books and playing board games with each other cos they can, but usually someone (Kwazii) teases them that they're in love, and they both blush so fiercely; it gets awkward pretty quickly.

Jane and Pinto however, they love each other like a sister/brother, but I'd be lying if I said that they didn't learn... "relationship habits" from Tweak and Kwazii. They will fight non-stop about anything they can think of for "fun", and use cuss words in Spanish and German as terms of endearment for each other.

Pinto's the youngest of all the kids, so the older ones often baby him. Koshi reads him bedtime stories at night, Squirt insists on combing his feathers and putting him in a suit whenever they have to look "presentable", and Jane lets him follow her around everywhere and try to help her fix whatever Tweak had asked her to fix.

The baby Vegimals think the kids are so cool cos they're older, and will follow the kids around everywhere holding their little baby flippers up, begging the kids to play with them and pick them up, and the kids cannot physically say no, so they let the Vegimals play with them and cuddle the little babies as gently as they can.
