Giving In To Urges

Even for the Captain, urges are sometimes too easy to give into. Everyone on the Octopod has trouble resisting their different urges sometimes.

The Captain, for example, always tries to keep himself fit and healthy, meaning he works out every morning at like 5 AM, eats as healthy as he can, and tries to go to bed early (OK, he isn't too good at the last one cos he often finds himself going to bed later than he'd like cos he needs to check on his crew who stay up late)

The Captain has a raging sweet tooth and an insane weakness for vanilla kelp pudding. He often finds himself trying (and failing) to resist the urge to eat whatever extra dessert the Vegimals cook for everyone.

Tweak often finds herself trying to push down the urge to smack Kwazii across the head with a screwdriver whenever he interrupts her girls' night with Dashi. Dashi ends up very gently trying to hold Tweak down on the bed and if she is successful in keeping Tweak from killing Kwazii, she'll give Tweak a big hug, pat her on the head, and tell her, "Good Tweaky!" Tweak pretends to hate it, but she loves Dashi hugging and giving her TLC

Whenever Peso goes to Kwazii's room for story and movie night, he always gets sleepy far before Kwazii does, and by 11 PM, he usually isn't able to stay awake any longer, and will fall asleep (usually on Kwazii) Kwazii will see this and will put Peso in his bed and get in right beside him and give him cuddles until he too falls asleep.

Resisting the urge to not give the baby Vegimals hugs is impossible. When there is something that cute and that angelic at your feet raising its little flippers up and smiling up at you, it's practically illegal to say no, you monster.

The adults often have to resist the urge to go "awww" if the kids fall asleep while cuddling each other after they swore blind that they weren't tired
